    Does what it should

    I am definitely a digital hoarder. I have no trouble getting rid of anything that can be digitized. I turn it into zeros and ones, then the physical objects can go. The trouble is, I found myself collecting storage media. This was becoming a problem. The answer is a few of these babies. Pop of a few of these into a NAS unit, and eliminate my older 4 and 5 TB storage devices. Easy peasy! 4 drives, and one device to rule them all. The drive works exactly as expected, is as fast as advertised and as quiet as I need it to be. I will probably stay with this family of drives as I eventually need to increase my capacity.

    It works for my needs

    The Enterprise drives can be pricey, but you can find some good deals on the refurbished ones if you keep an eye out for them. It's hard to pass up on a drive meant for 24/7 constant use, built to last for hours on end. It may be too much for some, but for my home server, it's worth it. I'd rather have one server than multiple external hard drives on my desk.
