    I bought two of these, one for my IC-910H, it fit perfectly. The second one I bought hoping I could put it on my IC-735, newly restored, as the cabinets are almost identical in size. Unfortunately the IC-735’s cabinet is not setup to take a handle and feet on the sides. So back to the drawing board on my IC-735. No worries though, as I have a friend who needs a handle and feet for his IC-910H, so the second set will end up with him.

    It works for a Icom IC-706mk2g Radio Replacement

    I used this as a replacement for my Icom IC-706mk2g. The strap is no longer available at any price so I used this MB-23 kit. This one is almost exactly the same as the MB-72 except it is the strap is around 2.5 inches too long. I cut it to the proper size and drilled a hole and it works. There is steel inside the strap so I cut it with gardening snips. The screws for the feet are too big so I bought an assorted set of laptop screws and found the proper screws to fit the feet and thread of the radio on amazon. The proper screw is 2.5m x 8m.

    High priced

    For what you get, it is pretty high priced, which is typical of the "Big Three" Japanese companies. Having said that, it is nice to have a handle installed. The screws were described as self tapping, but I immediately found they wouldn't go into the chassis of the radio. As it turns out, they were not self tapping, and the threads were getting rounded from the attempt. I went ahead and tapped the holes, and everything went well after that.
