I bought this item because my friend has one, used it once and decided to get one for me. Well since i got i have used it more than once and works great. Was skeptical at first, but learn to love it. Makes ICE COLD SLUSHY MARGARITAS, no big chunks of ice, MY wife loves it becuase it's real easy to clean, easy to carry or move around. Has a big holding container and for being a personal use and not industrial item, within 15 minutes you can have a fresh made margarita drink for 8 to 10 regular cups. Great for family get togheters. Would recommend.
I'm very pleased with my purchase of the Margarator. I wanted one after seeing my brother-in-law's Margarator in action. I've used it only once to make margaritas, which were very good. I've used it several times to make slushies for the granddaughters and they were more than happy with the results. The Margarator is easy to use & to clean up afterward, and appears to be sturdy and well made. I recommend this product to anyone.
I am disappointed in this as it was advertised as much more than what it actually delivers. The concept is pretty cool where you can quickly and easily make/mix margaritas anywhere as long as you have access to a cigarette lighter. The good about this is that it is easy to clean, very few parts, and directions are extremely easy. The bad is that it takes a v ery long time to mix and only about the first 2 glasses come out normal and then the spout clogs with crushed ice and you have to keep mixing and mixing to get more out of it. The spout is also a piece of junk that will break with much use. I would recommend getting a more industrial strength blender unless you have to have the mobility of something like this.
loved it when it worked - bought and returned 4 Margarators. first one lasted 6 mos, others less, one didnt work right outta the box. really an awesome idea because you can take the top off of the motor and it keeps your margaritas frozen for hours. we took it camping and plugged it into the lighter. the motors of all 5 Margarators burned out and Helman Group never responded to any of my emails or phone calls. kept the top part and threw the motor away on the 5th Margarator. spent $500 for a big margarita maker and use the Margarator top to hold the margaritas while making more.cant take the big machine camping though.
I bought one for a housewarming party I was hosting and it was a Hugh hit! You definitely get your bang for your buck if you like to entertain. We have a huge family and this took the hassle out of figuring out what to buy for gifts. Christmas shopping is done!!! 7 couples (14 ppl) checked off the list! I'm so exited to just put my feet up and wait for Christmas!!!
