Widely known and much loved, Black tea gets its characteristic flavour and colour from a natural oxidation process, the most oxidised of all the teas. Is made by fully fermenting the harvested leaves before the heating or drying process occurs. The oxidation is responsible for imparting the dark colouring and increasing the amount of caffeine. Resulting in a deep reddish-brown cup colour and rich full bodied flavour, the strongest flavour and most popular of all the tea types.
