Okay...maybe this really should be called CHINESE CABBAGE collection! LOL! I only found this pattern back in Feb '15 because i had recently got into Hong Kong decorated Japanese Porcelain Ware earlier this year/'15! This pattern was mostly intended for domestic use. Hence, it's a pretty rare pattern outside of China...especially the older pieces. This pattern turns me on 'cause it's kewl, it's rare...and 'cause Chinese Cabbage/Napa Cabbage/Pak Choi/Bok Choy have become part of our multi-ethnic cuisine on Guam due to the multi-ethnic immigration since WWII. The oldest examples are out of my budget :-( The other thing...i'm not sure if we can even eat of the china pieces?!!! ;-? Some antique expert casually mentioned that the "fatter" white bases are Bok Choy?
