About Yamaha V Star 650
Most cruiser motorcycles will not win a drag race against a swift snail, but that is not the case with the Yamaha V-Star 650. The V-Star 650 is the entry-level cruiser in the Yamaha DragStar series. Since its first outing in 1997, the V-Star 650 packs a 649 cc air-cooled V-twin engine that produces 40 horsepower and a five-speed transmission assisted by a multiplate wet clutch. This nifty cruiser comes in three trims: Classic, Custom, and Silverado. The Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom is the base model. It has a modern design that sharply contrasts with the vintage looks of the other two trims. The Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic shares the same frame, engine, and suspension as the Custom version. However, its styling differences include metal fenders and stretched handlebars. Compared to the Custom trim, the Classic bike has a longer body, wider front wheel and seat, and fewer chromed parts. The Silverado trim is simply the Classic version with touring accessories. You can find all of these trims among the wide selection of Yamaha V-Star 650 bikes offered by trusted sellers on eBay.
