About Yamaha 250 Enduro

There are people in life who stick to the center path, and then there are the adventurers. Adventurers ride motorcycles like the Yamaha 250 Enduro. It works on the road with a comfortable 17-horsepower 250cc engine. In addition, at only 290 lbs. fully laden, it is light and easy to handle. However, this is a bike that stays underneath you when you take it onto the beaten track. It has good suspension, with more than 7 inches of travel in the front wheel. There is almost 11 inches of ground clearance, plus a skid plate to deal with anything in-between, when off-roading. When Yamaha first built this bike, it was the off-road market to which the company wanted to appeal. Today, there are many crossover motorcycle options, such as bikes that you can ride off-road as well as travel comfortably on when riding on the highway. When the Yamaha 250 Enduro first hit the market in 1968, it was the only one. It became an instant hit, particularly the Yamaha DT 250 Enduro. There is a vast inventory available on eBay, and you can get replacement parts easily.
