Have you ever seen a Weeble wobble? If you grew up in the 1980s, chances are you have seen your share of wobbling Weebles, as egg-shaped Playskool Weebles were all the rage in the 1970s and 1980s, with each toy coming complete with its own look based on a specific character. Some popular Weebles included Disney Weebles, as well as those with circus, Sesame Street, and cowboy themes. When in possession of an entire set of these toys, you could play with them alongside a special playset, which are available today in vintage condition on eBay. Popular playsets for the toys included a tree house, traditional house, bus, and castle, which allowed children to create an entire adventure for the little oval people, such as a haunted house scenario, a Wild West ghost town, or an outdoors playground and picnic. Though the wobbly little toys look a bit strange next to modern playthings, despite their updated look, there is still something fascinating about Weebles that wobble… and never fall down.
