About Tim Lincecum

Timothy Lincecum is an award winning major league baseball pitcher for the San Francisco Giants. In fact, he pitched a no-hitter game against the San Diego Padres in Petro Park on July 13, 2013. His baseball career started in college when he played for the University of Washington Huskies. While there, he won the Golden Spikes award in 2006 and later that same year, he became the first player on their team to be a first round pick and was drafted by the San Francisco Giants. Since joining the Giants, Lincecum has gone onto win the Cy Young award twice, once in 2008 and again in 2011. While playing for the Giants, the team won the World Series twice as well, and in 2010, he received the MVP Babe Ruth award.
