About Mew

As one of the unique fantastical creatures in the long-running Pokémon franchise, Mew has appeared in everything from video games, to movies, to collectible card games. You can even find soft plush versions that your kids can squeeze and drag along on their quest to catch 'em all. The unique thing about this specific Pokémon is that it was never supposed to exist and was added to the Pokémon Red and Blue games right before their release. Moreover, it was originally supposed be only available to people who worked at Game Freak, the company that programmed the game. However, a glitch made possible for other players to find Mew, and as a result, the hidden character helped build interest in the game. It may have started as a prank, but it turned into a brilliant marketing technique. A quick trip to eBay can show you all the collectibles and products you or your child could want. As for the cards, choose from basic ones to the rare holographic Ancient Mew. Isn't time you got in touch with some pocket monsters and share something special with your kids. And you don't even have to catch 'em all.
