About Lego Shell Ferrari
You sigh wistfully as you watch the sleek sports car glide smoothly down the road. You cannot afford a real Ferrari, but you can at least enjoy toy Lego Shell Ferrari sets with your kids. Shell once had a relationship with Lego that began in 1966, and the Shell logo is visible on many sets. In 1992, Lego introduced a fictional oil company called Octan and stopped using Shell co-branding for a while. As a result, Lego Shell Ferrari sets are popular with collectors. Initially released in Hong Kong and Singapore before the U.S., complete sets and individual replacement pieces are both available in the vast inventory on eBay. Some full collections feature Lego Ferrari trucks, pit crews, and five cars consisting of the 150 Italia, the F40, the 250 GT Berlinetta, the 458 Italia, and the FXX. The 2014 collection includes the F138, the F12 Berlinetta, the 250 GTO, and the 512 S. A finishing line and podium come in some sets along with a Shell station and tanker. To add some extra flair to your collection, look for the Lego Enzo Ferrari, the 430 Spider, and the 599 GTB Fiorano.
