About Isuzu Rodeos

The catchy country tune "Little Red Rodeo" catapulted the compact Isuzu SUV into the spotlight in 1997. The five-door Isuzu Rodeo actually first hit the road in 1991 with a body style similar to the Isuzu Wizard sold in Japan. The Rodeo offers a comfortable ride for five passengers with room to spare, while distinguishing itself stylistically in comparison to rugged types of SUVs. The first generation Rodeo features a 119-horsepower, 2.6L four-cylinder engine and a choice of manual or automatic five-speed transmission. The 3.2L V-6 engine debuted in 1993. The second generation sporty 1998 Isuzu Rodeo hit the market with numerous upgrades, including noise reduction, a lighter weight, and improved handling and comfort. In 2001, the three-door version of the Rodeo, the Amigo, became the Rodeo Sport, but both versions saw the end of the road in 2004. Powered by a 205-horsepower 3.2L V6 engine, the 1998 model averaged 19 miles per gallon for city and highway driving. By the time the 2004 model hit the road, the Isuzu Rodeo sported a 250-horsepower, 3.5L V6 engine with combined fuel economy of 19 miles per gallon. The experienced sellers on eBay offer a wide selection of used and restored Rodeos along with quality Isuzu Rodeo parts and manuals to help you keep your SUV running smoothly.
