About Dodge RAM SRT 10

In 2004, the Dodge Ram SRT-10 laid to rest all doubts about its superiority when it broke the Sports Car Club of America's record and set a new Guinness World Record for the world's fastest production truck. In truth, the SRT-10 is not your average Dodge Ram. Rather, it is a roided-out Ram carrying an 8.3L V10 engine borrowed from the Dodge Viper. It was this 500-horsepower engine that powered the Dodge Ram 1500 SRT-10 to a record-making top speed of 154 mph. But there is more to the SRT-10 besides raw power. It also has high-performance Bilstein shocks, a fifth shock absorber for arresting wheel hops, and a bulging exterior sculpted to aerodynamic perfection in a wind tunnel. Within its three-year production run, the Dodge Ram SRT-10 brakes improved in order to rein in the growling beast under the hood. The standard ABS brakes in the 2004 model used two-piston sliding brake calipers. These were upgraded to four-piston single-block calipers the following year. With the wide selection of Dodge Ram SRT-10s on eBay, you can finally get a Ram bred for speed and capable of acceleration worthy of a sports car.
