About Coca Cola
What started out in an Atlanta, Georgia soda fountain as a carbonated water, considered a medicine for good health, at five cents, has become perhaps the most worldwide recognized and popular beverage of all time. Coca Cola has reached every country in the world in one form or another, because of course, everyone would "like to buy the world a Coke." Because of its love of this "passport to refreshment," Coke lovers snatch up Coca Cola memorabilia and collectibles almost as much as the caramel-colored brew itself. Many rooms have been decorated around the cola theme with vintage Coca Cola coolers. Some devotees keep it a little more low-key with a selection on vintage Coca Cola glasses and bottles. Many restaurants and diners feature used or new signs that were originally sponsored by Coke, boasting their logos and popular marketing slogans. "Have a Coke and a smile," urges one popular sign. Coke fans can find their favorite collectibles from eBay's vast selection of new and gently used Coca Cola items. Though it isn't quite the same as the World of Coca Cola Museum, it's close. Find nearly everything you need there. After all, "it's the real thing."
