About Bugs Bunny

Voiced by the enormously talented Mel Blanc for 50 years, Bugs Bunny spread joy to kids of all ages. After Mickey Mouse, he was the second cartoon character to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1985. The first official cartoon short starring Bugs Bunny was 1940's "A Wild Hare," directed by the legendary Tex Avery. In this short, Bugs and Elmer Fudd squared off in the original version of hunter versus pest. Elmer Fudd introduced his famous warning, "Be vewy, vewy quiet. I'm hunting wabbits." Bugs' wisecrack, "What's up, Doc?" made its debut, as well. "A Wild Hare" was a huge success and received an Academy Award nomination. Memorabilia featuring this gleefully loony rabbit are great gifts or additions to your collection.
