About 1993 Ford Mustang
Only 107 models of the 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra R exist, most of those in the hands of private collectors. Although this ultra-rare variety sold out before ever hitting the streets, it represents the high end of the Mustang spectrum. The base model, aptly named the Mustang LX, comes in a convertible, coupe, or hatchback style, but with only 105 horsepower it is not likely to impress anyone with its ponies. The most popular model was the Mustang GT with its 5.0 L V8 engine, producing 205 horsepower, making it one of the stronger Fox-body style Mustangs. Then, of course, there are the elite Cobra Mustangs that use a larger 302 engine, a throwback to the classic Mustangs of bygone eras, such as the GT350 and Boss 302. The GT and Cobra versions remain popular among collectors and drivers, and there are plenty of listings for 1993 Ford Mustang parts on eBay for those repairing or rebuilding their pony car. The 1993 Ford Mustang might dawdle down the road in its base version, but the higher end vehicles represent some of the best muscle cars of the 1990s.
