Women's Vintage Hats

Made in USA. Chiffon, veils, netting, silk & cotton flowers, straw, satin, velvet, feather detail. Spring colors. 2 have Union-Made labels; the others are unmarked. Suitable for derby, royal wedding or cocktail parties!

The largest one (Smartwear, probably from 1960's- the others are older) has its original velvet ribbon, and has 2 chenille bands with silk flowers which can be placed over the velvet band (see photo #4).

I am offering three vintage/antique hats.  They belonged to our Auntie who passed away in 2006 at the age of 89.  First is a wool pleated hat with a large black bow in back.  Has a mesh lining and a strap to hold hat on. Next is a white hat, very soft, with a mink trim piece and a rhinestone accent.  The white area has marks that I think will come out--probably from storage of three hats in a box.  Final bee hive hat is pink flowers with lily of the valley and olive green accents with a net.  I am guessing this hat if from the 1960s.  

Vintage 80s "Adolfo II" quality green wool felt soft wide brim dress hat. Has two dramatic 20" long pheasant feathers, felt rose, and felt band and bow. Also see our other great vintage items including more hats, we gladly combine shipping. Very good vintage condition. Measures about 21 3/4" around the inside. Brim is 4 1/4" at widest.

A very sweet tilt from the 40's- Very cute when worn! This is a darling tilt from the 1940's. It has a small crinoline base that is heavily embellished with a large bouquet of flowers and netting at the back.

Rare late 30’s early 40s pale pink with green accents fine straw tilt top “ cup and saucer “ hat covered in pink fabric roses . Perfect for a garden party or wedding . It measures 7.25” across and has a covered wire band for under the hair . it would have been worn tilted . Condition is minty unworn still with the original tag .

Possibly due to make-up.

Labeled Laddie Northridge, it is a tilt designed to fit most people with an elastic to help secure. This hat is no exception-very well made and very charming! This is such a sweet hat! The underside of the brim is covered with ivory satin.

The bird is cotton wrapped with feathers, red beak. Interior label, New York Creations 22.

Rare, used but in great condition! Size 22 cm.

This one is really special and quite gorgeous. So feminine, and so HUGE! The entire brim is loaded with romantic and large pale pink and cream roses with realistic stems and leaves. The brim is covered with a fine and sheer French silk black betting that covers the roses like a cloud.

Hat is decorated with feathers and rhinestone trim. Hat is in very good used condition.

There a 2 black 2 brown and others, check the photos closely. Free of any offensive odors.

White cloche with cream satin trim and white roses and veil netting - maker unknown. Black velvet Juliet cap adorned with fan accent and rhinestones - maker unknown (veil netting in bad shape). Black wool mushroom cap with bow accent and veil netting - Mohn Brothers Berkshire (1 tiny hole in the cap and the veil is in bad shape).

**Please see two additional photos below** Made from a navy blue wool felt, this is a classic Glengarry style - long and narrow and curved to fit to the head. (Very similar to a military garrison cap). It is very stable on the head without wires or straps. Many I have sold of this style had elastic cords attached to wear under you hair. I do not find it necessary on this hat, but I am happy to attach a black one if you desire - just let me know. This has a deeply molded crown, creating high sides. Left side features two lovely ivory white roses (starched cotton, I think), that anchor a long self-felt "feather" with fringed edges - so great! Covering the hat is an amply sized veil with NO holes or breaks(!).

The only issue I see is a tear to the crin located at the back of the hat as shown. A wonderful authentic flapper hat that is beautiful-and Very cute when worn! This is a Gorgeous hat from the 1920's!

We do our very best, but we are not infallible. There are occasions when we miss a tiny hole or a little stain spot etc.

Pale pink linen hat has one spot on top of hat. Veiling on hats is torn. Black velvet hat with feather in good condition. Cleaning is left up to the new owner. Hats do not have sizes. Mid Century Hat Collection.

For the larger flowers that are misshapen, I would guess there is a way to steam them back to shape. These are “as found.”. They need to be aired a bit too. Auctiva's FREE Counter.

Wonderful original antique Victorian ladies hat...... circa 1910s and was probably handmade by a millinery hat maker.... it is black faux fur with ostrich feather plumes ... a silk ribbon fastened with a big steel cut pin around the rim...there is some disintegration of the ribbon where the pin is...otherwise this hat is in very good antiquarian condition as shown...it comes in the antique Della Donne New York hat box that is shown in the photos.... please email any questions before bidding.

The group includes a round J.W. Robinson of California and a Gene Doris of New York. The Robinson hat is blue satin/sateen with sweeping pleating across the top ending a a double bow. The Gene Doris navy blue straw with slightly rolled brim, seashell decorations and a net.

It is styled in a cloche design.the top of the hat is covered with white feathers and it is adorned with pink silk flowers. It is in great. faux pearls, rhinestones and feathers that protrude from the flowers.
