Here is a very nice Silvertone 245 radio vacuum tube. This tube has very clear markings on the base.I do not have a tube tester, but I have tested this in my 1931 Westinghouse WR-8 radio and it works great!
Five Sylvania angled "T" plate vacuum tubes labeled Silvertone tested as shown - one low at 92/61%25. 100%25 represents what you would expect from a NOS tube on my Amplitrex and 65%25 is considered too low to use.
RARE NIB RCA made Super Silvertone Type 80 Rectifier tube. Original sticker still intact on the side of the tube. Tube and box are in excellent condition. Very clean with clear lettering. Tube features black plates with a small, bottom-mounted rectangular "D" getter.
Tested on an enhanced Triplet E3444 Laboratory Tester prepared by Paul Hart of Roswell, GA. Tubes may also be operated under the test conditions for extended periods to be sure that it is stable. Results =1240%7c1310 µmhos . 70%7c.75mA.
Tubes tested at:114%25 / 114%25, 114%25 / 112%25, 112%25 / 114%25, 112%25 / 110%25 & 111%25 / 112%25. Tubes passed ALL tests. Gray plates with middle plate being silver. This is very important! We strive to make this happen!
