Orient Bambino Watches

I love the retro, old-fashioned look to this watch. And yet it is not trying to pretend to be a vintage watch. The domed glass sets it apart from 99% of the watches you see today, and also distorts the outer edge of the face, making it look curved there. The slightly raised numerals and logo are striking. The face colour is a true cream, not off-white or brownish as It appears in some photos. No mechanical movement is going to be as accurate as a quartz one. My watch is gaining about 9 seconds a day, a price I am prepared to pay for a mechanical work of art, and for not having to throw away batteries. I easily reset it once a week. I like the faint ticking I can hear when I hold it next to my ear. Some find the dark brown strap too shiny. I don't, but if you do, replacement straps can be bought on ebay for US$10-20. The watch and strap are comfortable - I'm not aware of wearing it. The size is fine for my 6.75 inch wrist, but if my wrist was any smaller the watch would be too big in my opinion. The watch looks better than in the photos. This is my dress watch - it exudes elegance. This watch is far better value for money than most watches at this price. By the way, Orient is owned by Seiko.

First of all, I must say that I rarely give 5 start to a product. 5 stars means perfection, and few items match the criteria of perfection anyways. That said, this watch is heck of a good one! I am sure there are few mechanical automatic watches out there (with in house movement) that can match this quality to this price. It is also very stylish and will look good either you are wearing suit or just a plain normal daily wear. I would recommend this watch to people who want a nice, robust and high quality watch to a reasonable price. The only downside would be the strap. It is not that bad, but it is not that great either. The good thing about that is that you can buy your own strap yourself, and problem solved. So, if you want quality and style, to a reasonable price, buy it!:D

This is the best version and color combo, has the hacking feature and the blue hands that really stands out against the cream face. The gold Roman numerals adds to the classic appeal, and with the small outer Arabic numbers 05-60 for the seconds does not add any clutter to the magnificent face! This watch grabs the eye that never tires of its beauty. You could pay $250-300 or more and not find a better-looking dress watch. Yeah, maybe you could get a better movement or 200m water resistant, but for a mere 138 bucks...how could you go wrong? Better yet...Why would you look further? Jerry Texas

The dial of this watch gives it a vintage feel. It is contrasted with very sharp blue hands that pictures cannot do justice. Plus the domed glass make this a very stylish watch. It wears comfortably, but the strap has a plastic feel to it. Maybe the band will break in, but I will likely replace. That leads to the only downside of this watch. It requires a 21 mm band, which is a little difficult to find. Overall, this is a terrific watch and I would highly recommend it.

The Orient FAC00009N Bambino is a beautiful, classy watch with vintage styling and retro domed glass. This watch is an upgrade to previous Bambino models with a new movement that has new features, such as hacking (the seconds hand stops when you set the time) and handwinding (aside from the automatic winding by the rotor). The only con is the strap. Too shiny for my taste. I have replaced it with a less shiny leather and I am very pleased with the watch.

Came in great condition. Looks more expensive than it really is. The hand winding feature is great at this price point. I get compliments all the time. Looks great on a black alligator leather band as well

Nice watch with a good quality. Very beautiful looking and sounding also. The belt is a little bit strong, but it's ok, because you can change it, if you want. 5 stars. I recommend

This is a fantastic looking watch. Keeps good time. Quality built. However, it has no lume (I knew that at the time of purchase). I will buy another Orient in a heartbeat.

Orients are great. Awesome value for the money. Would highly recommend this watch. It looks great. I should have bought it sooner.
