1965, all tubes test good. The Lafayette LR-800 has a 'Tuning Eye' station tuning indicator which was popular on many receivers of that period. This are horizontally mounted vacuum tube in which the light gap closes as the signal strength gets stronger.

In very nice condition considering it's age. Very minor ware. Works great and sounds even better. When using wired speakers the sound is a bit weak, yet when using the jack for speakers it sounds great.
The receiver is in very clean condition. I tested all functions of the receiver and all are working perfectly. The sound this receiver outputs is a truly beautiful warm sound. The stereo indicator light is working but the internal bulb needs replacing inside the tuner window for it is not illuminating.

Vintage Lafayette LR-100 AM/FM Stereo Receiver. Rich, warm almost tube-like sound. All functions work well. All lights and meters function. Great sounding small unit for a garage, basement or other secondary area
With a circuit diagram, future trouble shooting and tuning this radio is quite simple. With minimal routine care, this stereo receiver amplifier could operate forever. It has an attached foldable external ferrit antenna for AM reception.
All inputs and outputs were checked and work fine, including the phono. All knobs and switches were cleaned with De-Oxit, so it works great, very quiet. I did replace the FM stereo lamp with an led bulb.
