Previous owner tried to remove label from Rim because it was peeling off, and as you can tell by the pics he had a little trouble doing so! This Rim is cut for a Flathead Ring. Please email any questions you may have about this Rim.

Thanks,

Vintage South

Includes the original hardshell Geib case with green plush lining. The only repair I can find is a short section of binding in the cutaway part of the fingerboard extension that was replaced. The frets are in good shape and it is loads of fun to play.

Great Condition! Gibson RB-250 Banjo 1960's Mastertone 4 String + OHSC. This banjo is in excellent condition! It has a few finish markings on the back, but for the most part very nice! Overall excellent condition considering the year!
The neck is also a Huber neck and is a speed neck with the finish on the back sanded off. The neck has leaves and bows and the frets are in great shape with just light wear on the first few frets. There are spikes at the 7th-9th frets.

Oh My 14" head size strum it once and your hooked! Has no effect on the tone of this masterpiece! Tuners also are not the original ones! All lugs have been changed to accommodate the new Gold tone head.
This is a 1884/85 Earl Scruggs Mastertone Banjo.Serial No. I have owned this Banjo since the late 80's. You can see a small picture of the signing in one of the photos, lying in the case. That picture will stay with the Banjo.
