  • Rare Pale Amethyst Flint Glass Cup Plate, LR #396, Possibly Sandwich Glass

This auction is for a Rare Pale Amethyst Flint Glass Cup Plate, LR #396, Possibly Sandwich Glass, c. 1835-1855. This is a very rare pale amethyst colored flint glass cup plate with a sunburst pattern with a rayed rim. The cup plate has a very pale amethyst tint to the glass which is a color and not a tint from sun exposure. It was very difficult to catch in my pictures but I guarantee that it is a pale amethyst color. I offer this Rare Sandwich pale amethyst glass cup plate with no reserve to be sold to the highest bidder. This is a part of a collection of over 100 Sandwich Glass that I am currently offering on eBay. The collector kept meticulous records on each cup plate. This one was purchsed at Remminger's Antiques show on 9 - 21 -1975, for $65. Please check out my other auctions as I am happy to combine shipping.
