Each year between 1980 and 2002, the studio where David Winter worked released between five and 52 cottages, including collections for:

  • Guild Magazines - Starting with one in 1999, David Winter released a series of country cottages for “Guild Magazine.” You can find four of these cottages for each year between 2000 and 2004.
  • British Traditions - Each cottage in this series, where a new cottage was released each month, is based on a British tradition, like Pudding Cottage, Knights Castle, Staffordshire Vicarage, and St. Anne's Well.
  • The Castle Collection - Released from 1994 to 1996, this is a collection of different castles or pieces of castles. Two pieces in this collection were re-figured slightly and released in the United States as Carnival pieces.
  • Celebration Cottages - This series of six cottages was released in 1995 and 1996. Basic and premier pieces were released in this series that ended with the release of a girl and boy stork cottage.
  • The Tiny Series - Starting in 1980, this series shows famous English places, like Codworth's Cottage, William Shakespeare's Birthplace, and St. Nicholas Church.
Did David Winter make any Christmas cottages?

Yes, David Winter released a series of Christmas cottages. The first piece was Ebeneezer Scrooge's Counting House, released in 1987. Other cottages in the series include Christmas in Hungary and Scotland, A Christmas Carol, Mr. Fezziwig's Emporium, Fred's House, Scrooge's School, Old Joe's Beetling, The Scrooge Family Home, Miss Belle's Cottage, Christmas Castle, and Tiny Tim. When you shop for David Winter collectibles on eBay, you can easily find all the David Winter houses. David Winter also released Tiny Tim and Scrooge Family plaques and three Christmas plaques with David Winter Cottages written on them. The latter plaques were available in minimal amounts.

Did David Winter release items besides cottages?

Yes, you can find other David Winter collectibles. He released a series of plaques, including a Window Plaque sign. You can also find a 1-inch tall Sabrina's pin that is similar to Sabrina's Cottage. Also released were a series of coasters showcasing The Dower House, The Bakehouse, The Bothy, Stratford House, Tudor Manor, and Sussex Cottage.
