In researching this set I have not found another bowl & pitcher by Frank Beardmore and believe this to be quite rare! The set is beautifully decorated with the Lynton pattern with burgundy and yellow roses and green scroll work designs in what appears to be hand painting over a transfer.
ANTIQUE 7 Piece Wash Chamber Set ~ Royal China Burgess Co. #502. Overall very good condition for age. There are no cracks on any of the pieces. The soap dish bowl is also missing the lid. Other age appropriate signs such as small tight crazing, light brown age spots, fading on paint & gold accent paint at spots.
Jug & Basin. There is a Roman city scene depicted on both the pitcher and the bowl, carved in relief. They are glazed with brown hues in the crevices accenting the various details of the raised pattern. This detail is not dirt in the photos. Some crazing adds to the age of the piece. Makes a great decorative accent in the home. The basin measures around 8.5 inches wide and the jug measures around 6 inches depth at base. A lovely addition to your farm home or colonial collection.

This antique Royal Ironstone China pitcher and bowl set made by Anchor Pottery of Trenton, NJ circa 1890's. Both pieces are decorated with robin's egg blue banding and gold line trim. The pitcher is further enhanced with a molded cording motif around the top of the handle and extending to the sides of the pitcher in a draping manner.
Both pieces have Mason’s Ironstone China crown and ribbon mark. The images and colors are vivid throughout. There is a main crack that starts in the rim and travels down the side and part way to the floor of the bowl and has associated chipping that has been glued.
Blue & White Stoneware Wild Rose Pitcher & Bowl Wash Set Basin. 15 1/4" dia x 3 3/4"h & pitcher 10"h, c.mid 19th century. Fishscale & wild roses pattern. Lite wear with a small pit to interior of bowl.
This is an Arnel's 1975 pitcher and bowl set. The pitcher is signed Arnel's 1975 SY. The bowl is signed Arnel's SY. The pitcher is about 5 3/4" at tallest. The pitcher is about 5.5" across at the top at longest, including handle.
The pitcher and bowl and one of the vases have a green Cauldon England crown backstamp. The pattern and molds are identical. Cauldon took over production of the pattern from Ridgways, I believe. The set consists of a Pitcher, Washbowl, Chamber Pot, a soap dish with lid and drainage insert, and two small vases.
The pieces are Strikingly decorated in traditional Gaudy or Imari colors – cobalt blue, orange, yellow, green, and gold accents – in an Art Nouveau floral pattern. The pieces are not marked with the exception of “419” on the bottom of the pitcher.
Ironstone Johnson Brothers England Wash Bowl, Pitcher, Soap Dish with liner, Tooth Brush Holder, Chamber Pot and Mustache Cup. Each piece is signed Johnson Brothers with the back stamp dating from 1883-1913.
Founded in 1855, Maddock is part of a cluster of Staffordshire potteries. The mark on the bottom of these dates to 1906. Stamp says Maddock & Co Burslem England and TradeMark, with Royal above the crown and ribbon with STONE CHINA - indicating Ironstone china, a heavy early glazed pottery and very collectible.
