Powerful for the size of the cameral.
Good in low lite, can shoot in RAW. Lens is F 2.0 and the sensor is the same as the G12. Steeper learning curve than a basic point and shoot but it is well worth it to take the time to learn all the features. Gets easy to use quickly. Does great video with impressive stereo sound.
Cons are: the flash comes up into your finger, little ring on the back move easy, can't zoom out doing video.Read full review...

Pros and Cons of S95
The S95 is a camera easy to handle with clear images. It is not heavy so it can be worn with a "chain" without discomfort. The flash is not in a good position because you have to be careful not to press on it while you are holding the camera. The videos are clear It does not have a view finder which I enjoy having. Ho wever, it is equal to the Canon's s110 which is also a n excellent camera ..Read full review...

Great value for the money
If you don't care about WiFi connectivity and a flippable LCD screen, then this is a very good camera. This is my second one after my first one got damaged after a fall. Image quality and autofocus are very good, though it takes a little getting used to the menu system. Take some time reading the manual (download it if needed).Read full review...

Do you REALLY need 20 megapixels?
The Canon S90 and S95 cameras have become quite the bargain since newer models have come out with 20 plus megapixels! The reality is a quality 10 MP camera can provide poster size pictures. And Canon has some of the best color rendition in the market. So for a small light travel camera for shooting scenery these cameras are hard to beat...especially at the price points they're at now.Read full review...

Canon Powershot S95
This camera was released in 2010, so it's not a recent product. This was a major new product that tried to incorporate professional DSLR features in a shirt-pocket sized camera. It succeeded. This camera has some heft to it. It originally retailed for around $400. It takes stellar pictures, has a larger sensor that makes its low-light performance really good, it focuses fast, and it can be switched to manual mode and be used much like a much higher end DSLR. It also has excellent built in audio recording and shoots beautiful video.Read full review...

The best one yet!
I only buy Canon Powershot cameras. My biggest complaint has only been that they are too slow to focus. But this one does a great job in all aspects. Especially indoors, where I do most of my shooting. :DRead full review...

My new Canon S95
This is my 2nd S95, my first one was lost/stolen when I took a fall in Central Park. Big loss-all my pix for a job I was doing and other stuff I didn't want to lose.
It's a great little point and shoot camera which acts like a big camera with manual control.
In addition to using it for terrestrial shooting, I also have an underwater housing and strobes for it.
Oh yeah, I'm using this camera both above and below water for my pro work. It's really a terrific camera.Read full review...

Very nice camera
I'm very impressed with this camera. The body and controls have the best feel of any camera I've had, and it's very easy to get to all the settings I want. I think it's well-designed. My pictures with it have come out great, I just find myself missing the longer zoom on my last camera. Rated battery life is short but you can adjust the screen brightness which I think would help. I would definitely recommend it to someone who is looking for the best shots they can get with a tiny camera, but it was not very good for getting wildlife shots.Read full review...
