Yamaha Vintage Amplifiers and Tube Amps

The cosmetic condition is above average for a 30 year old amplifier( See Pictures for details). 120 Watts Per Channel. It is very clean inside and out and is 100% functional. This amp has been in alsost daily use for the past 3 years and has performed flawlessly.

This is a non working amplifier. When I power it on, the only action I get is the "MM" bulb lighting up. That is it. No sound or any other lights. I do not hear the usual relay click that most amps have before being functional. Face plate is a little dirty, but almost entirely free of scratches. The name of presumably the previous owner is stuck on. It's very small. Knob for the input selector is missing. The sides have some significant scratching. Judging by the undisturbed dust around the screws, I'd say this case hasn't been opened in a very long time, if ever. Please look at pics for greater detail!

For sale is a great working Yamaha CA-810 in nice condition with some scratches. Cleaned with Dioxit.

A few light scratches and tops and sides aren't perfect t but overall very good condition works good but a few of the light bulbs are blown.

YAMAHA Natural Sound Stereo AMPLIFIER ~ A-1060. Used - FOR PARTS or REPAIR, powers on but trips power surge protector, so no sound check done.

This is a Yamaha AVX-100U Natural Sound Stereo Amplifier. The Amplifier comes with the original remote and manual. The Amplifier has some light scratches on the outside. The photos are of the actual item you will receive.

During this period, there were many amps that were advertised to be high efficiency (pseudo) Class A amps with the sound quality of Class A and the efficiency of Class B, but the principle of changing the bias current depending on the signal level was controversial, and Yamaha stayed away from this approach.

I assure you it is as nice a unit of its kind as you will find. You likely will notice a new smell as it breaks in, also it WILL continue to sound BETTER as it the new parts are broken in, typically about 10-15 hrs.
