Collectible Radio Parts & Tubes

This style of knob was common to a number of different manufacturer's sets from the late 20's and early 30's including RCA, Pilot, and others. Cast in heavy dark brown bakelite, this original matched pair feature small white indicator dots on the face, and are in very good, clean used condition and ready to install. Each measure approximately 1" across the base, 1 5/16" across the face, 3/4" tall, and come complete with metal bushings and set screws to fit a standard round quarter inch control shaft. These knobs were standard on a wealth of the Philco product line in the years just after WWII. One common malady of this style was the rapid corrosion to the gold colored "bright" on the face of the knob. While the brights on this original matched set of four (4) are not perfect, they're in far better condition than the norm,. These knobs come complete with set screws to fit a quarter inch control shaft and measure approximately1 3/16" across the base, tapering to a 15/16" face, and 3/4" tall. Jazz up your guitar, amp, ham rig or homebrew with this matched set of six (6) black plastic knobs with applied silver colored highlights. Each measure approximately 1 1/16" in diameter, 1/2" tall and fit a standard split/splined quarter inch control shaft. They're in good used condition and offer "as-found" and "as-is".

Up for sale is a Good Testing General Electric 6146A radio vacuum tube and box. The tube has been removed from its box and tested and therefore it is listed as "used". The tube was tested on my Hickok 533A tube tester for mutual conductance.

Bid now on this original matched set of seven (7) vintage radio pushbuttons. Sorted from a large jumble of old electronic parts, we believe these may have been harvested from an RCA console set from the late 30's or early 40's. They're molded from hard brown plastic and have a small slit on one side where a call letter tab can be inserted. These fit a thin 3/8" wide flat shat, and measure approximately 1 1/4" tall, 9/16" wide and 13/16" thick. Offered "as-found" and "as-is".

From the late 1930's and well into the 40's, this style of knob was found on a variety of RCA products, including radios, phonographs and early TV's. This is an original matched pair of pinch type knobs, cast in brown bakelite and in good used condition, Both knob springs are intact to assure a secure fit on a half-round or "d" shaped control shaft. Each knob measures approximately 1 1/16" in diameter and 5/8" tall. Offered "as-found" and "as-is".

Two GE 6BX7GT Audio Receiver Vacuum Tubes, manufactured in the USA. The tubes have gray plates, two spacers, grid radiators, halo wire getter frames and top getter flashes. For Gm tubes with results below 3.8 are rejected.

These are from the 1950s or early 1960s and are extremely rare. These are in fairly good shape but do have some wear. One has what appears to be an incorrect replacement top part--my guess is that the previous owner lost the original top and replaced it with this one.

Here's an original pair of vintage knobs, commonly found on Fada radios and other compact sets in the late 1940's. Cast in hard brown plastics with hint of red, these two are in good used condition, fit a  split/splined quarter inch control shaft, and measure approximately 3/4" across the base, tapering to a 9/16" face, and 7/16" tall. Offered "as-found" and "as-is".

Up for sale is a Good Testing NOS Cunningham type 2A5 Audio Output radio vacuum tube in its original box. The box is in very poor condition and is missing some flaps. The tube has been cleaned and tested and therefore it is listed as "used".

Here's an original matched set of five (5) knobs with pointers, probably from a vintage phonograph or hifi system. They're cast in grey plastic with an applied gun metal face. They're in good shape, fit a standard split/splined quarter inch control shaft, and measure approximately 1 1/8 in diameter and 1/2" tall. Offered "as-found" and "as-is".

Two Tung Sol 6J5GT Audio Receiver Vacuum Tubes, manufactured in the USA. The tubes have black plates, grid radiator, two spacers, copper rods, dimpled foil getter frames, base getter flashes, metal base collars and alignment tabs.

Up for sale is a Good Testing RCA 6JB6A radio vacuum tube and box. The tube has been removed from its box and tested and therefore it is listed as "used". The tube was tested on my Precision 10-12 "Tubemaster" tube tester.

3 - RCA Radiotron UY-227 Globe Vacuum Tubes. These "5" pin type Triodes are in excellent cosmetic shape. - Tested Strong - on a Triplett 3444 Laboratory Tube analyzer. The Transconductance (gm) range is 630 - 970 and all three read over 900.
