Collectible Barometers

Weather station from west Germany. The outer ring in front is metal, I think the clear dome is plastic, but I'm not 100% sure- it could be glass. The backplates are plastic. there is a chip in one corner.

Seems to me like a super collector piece or to mount inside a boat or launch! Look, I know very little about this piece.only what I have been able to learn on the Internet. The center knob seems to work just fine rotating the gold-colored hand normally.

The casing for this barometer is made of brass. It weighs just under 2lbs. It is in very good condition. There are a few specs of dirt under the glass. It is not a hobby for me and I take it seriously.

Circular barometer in the center. Measures ~4" across. Back panel is wood. Has some scuffing on the edges of wood. Brass ring around barometer is cracked near one screw. Glass thermometer on the stem.

Shows wear from age, use and storage, but appears to work. Wood has some chips, dings, fading and wear. Measures approx.

Weather House with Black Forest Couple and Thermometer. Crafted in the Black Forest Region of Germany. Hand painted flowers. Made from wood with resin couple. Works like a barometer by using air pressure to predict the weather.

Up for sale is this retro weather station from Swift & Anderson, It has a very mid century look to it with the atomic design on all of the gauges. This was recently acquired at an estate sale. The wood around the gauges is in good condition but the paint has a distressed look to it.

Barometer Thermometer Humidity Gauges. This has an aged look to it as the plastic housing for the gauges has some wear / scratching to the brass look finish. The wood it is mounted on is in good condition with just some minor wear and a few scratches.

Very good to excellent condition but the barometer is not working. The compass, which separates from the barometer to be used on its own, is not working well--rotates with some difficulty but doesn't really seek north.

This unit features the standard Thermometer, Hygrometer, and Barometer gauges It has a wood housing with a glass window display. and 2 brass round footings. The unit is in great shape with minor wear throughout including one noticeable nick on the top of the wood.

Inside it are a tiny man and woman who act as weather forecasters. There is a thermometer on the front (does not appear to be working properly). D irections are printed in German and English on the back.

Not sure is thermometer works.

This working station measures 16 x 6.5". It can be hung either way.

This unit features the standard Thermometer, Hygrometer, and Barometer dials encased in a plastic housing. All the dials are in working order. The unit is in good shape with wear on the chrome paint on the plastic dial square coverings including what looks like an ink smudge on the humidity dial cover that I was not able to remove.
