Questions? No Problem.

  • What items can I send in?

A valet will sell your electronics, collectibles, and musical instruments, as well as designer clothing, shoes and handbags. There are exceptions, of course, but there are treasures all over your house that valets love to sell.

  • Is there a fee?

Valet takes a percentage of your item's final selling price. You'll earn 60% of the price for items selling for less than $50, 70% for items selling between $50 and $200, and 80% for items selling for more than $200.

  • What about shipping costs?

There are no shipping costs with eBay Valet. Simply box up your items and ship them to the valets using our prepaid shipping label. If your item goes unsold, the valets will return it to you for free.

  • What classifies an item as "new"?

A valet will sell both new and used items, but only items in factory-sealed original packaging will be considered in "new" condition. Valets may open factory-sealed packaging to inspect the items and determine their condition.

  • How do Valets price items?

Valets are selling experts and look at valuable data when putting your item up for sale. If your item goes unsold, the valets will relist it at a reduced price.

  • When do I get paid?

You will be paid within 2 business days after each item has sold and the buyer has paid for it. Items typically sell within 30-60 days of listing. All payments are through PayPal.
