  1. Mail-in
Request a free postage-paid shipping label. It's emailed to you. Print it out and use it with any box.

What about shipping costs?

There are no shipping costs with eBay Valet. Simply enter in the items you wish to sell, box them up and ship them to the valets using our prepaid shipping label. You can also drop-off your items at your local FedEx Office location where your items will be packed and shipped to the valets. If your item goes unsold, the valets will return it to you for free.

How do valets price items?

Valets research items like yours on eBay, looking at similar items that sold within the last 90 days, and price items according to this research. Items are for sale for up to 60 days. If your item doesn't sell, valets reduce the price and relist it.

Can I track the sale of my items?

If your items are listed on eBay, you'll get a confirmation email with a link to the listings.

What if I want to make a change to how one of my items is listed?

Valets can't change a listing after the listing is published, but you can call the valets to cancel your listing and have your item returned to you.

When do I get paid?

You'll be paid for each item after it sells. Valets will send you a payment within 2 business days after the buyer has paid for the item. All payments are through PayPal.

Here's how it works:

  • Valets receive your items within 4 business days after you mail them in or drop them off. You will receive an email confirming your list of items within 10 business days of the shipping carrier delivering your items to the valets.
  • Valets will review your items and list all eligible items for sale within another 15 business days. If something you sent in turns out to be something that isn't eligible for the valet program, the valets will return those items to you.
  • Your items are for sale on eBay for up to 60 days.
  • Valets will send you a payment within 2 business days after the buyer has paid for the item.
  • Unsold and ineligible items are returned to you within 7 business days after all items have sold or been for sale for 60 days.

Valets make every effort to meet these timeframes, but some situations, like extreme weather or unexpected volume, may cause delays. If you have questions, call eBay Customer Service (1-855-USE-EBAY).
