ZOOM 4506 Wireless 3G router

I bought this router to use with my Verizon 760 USB aircard. I travel a lot and I also have an iPad, so I was interested in a way to get more use out of the aircard instead of just plugging into the PC.
This device is perfect for me. It is Plug and Play and worked with not a single issue so far. I took a trip to TX and was also able to share the use with a co-worker with an Iphone (for their internet searches instead of using ATT data) and it was terrific.
On a charge, the battery lasted an entire day and most of the evening. I was thinking it was 3 hours, but it turned out to last about 8.
Super tool that allows me to get 100% more use out of the aircard.

Awesome product! Good performance and value for the money!

Amazing for long road trips! Works with my iPad, phone, laptop, etc. The rechargeable battery is nice but it only lasts around 2-2.5 hours which isn't too bad. It takes a while to fully connect to my internet card but the manual says it will so I can;t hold that against them. All-in-all, it a a great unit!

Verizon smartphone users have to get this

Effective July 31, 2012, Verizon and the Federal Communications Commission agreed that Verizon would not charge for tethering to either an Android phone or an iPhone. The 4506 supports tethering with both the iPhone and Android. This router has great range, excellent router features with security, minimizes battery drain on the phone. If you are a Verizon smartphone user and don't have one of these, buy the 4506 now. You'll definitely use it on the road, but you can also use it at home and may even be able to save a fixed broadband bill if your data needs aren't huge.

For no extra service cost, this is an extremely good tool. Android users on other services can generally tether without a charge because your service provider won't see the tethering. If they do try to make a fuss, how effective can that be with Verizon's new tethering policy?
