Review Title: Inexpensive phone for the features, but hard to use
I bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.
Good day, I've ordered a new SONY Playstation Portable 3000 about a month ago as a present for my 11 year's old brother and successfully received it recently. Console seller was quite polite and included two games, carrying case and memory unit(4Gb) as a present. Brother wanted this PSP last year, but that time we presented him Xbox 360. He was happy, but this year brother was hit on the idea of little PSP again on his birthday, and we gave up. What is good - console is lightweight, with big screen and comfortable keys, but it's glossy and you'll have to permanently wipe it. Menu is not perfect as I think, but it is a matter of habit. I found build quality imperfect too. What is about game graphics, truly I faced with better on my iPod Touch. Thing i'm most unhappy with - console software is v.5.51 :( Hope I'll find a place where I can get games for affordable prices. Next thing I was disappointed with - WiFi, that could not connect to WPA2. Not serious. As a result, I think PSP 3000 - a good temporary toy for ages 7-14, after 1/2 year it will be thrown.
I Think the buttons need to change they need to have more friendly control, they need that extra pad in the center of the thumb control pannel, spacing the thumb buttons is a bad idea or should I say "was" and still is a bad idea for the psp anything
The price needs to change Its 2009 we need to see a lower price, If your going to pay for a core system, then you should pay a core price, You would'nt sell a new car that was made in early 2000s for the same or close to the price for a 09 model.
I would have to say that if your buying the core you should at least pay about $80 to $99. for the Core system, because its a fair price and more would fly off the shelfs making more sells and maybe being number one in the ranking charts, and besides, nothing comes with the core anyway, what comes with the core that makes it so pricey ?
I purchased a Sony PSP Ratchet and Clank Bundle and took it back, because why should I pay $200 for a small hand held when I could have a full big gaming system for the same price ? so I traded in for a xbox 360 system, I got more for my buck, and it offered more, But you see, I would have kept it if the price was lower, there was no competitve pricing with the psps and xbox, There Should Have Been.
For the new psp they should come with more or offer more or back down, They need protective screen faces and they need the strong back door for the games, why did they remove that and replace it with a snap open/close door ? If your going to remove the good parts and add crapy breakable parts "weak" parts, then lower the price.
why should a player pay the full price for a system that has weaker parts ? Oh well I guess they dont make game systems as they use to anymore, I remember the good days when toys were metal heavy, and real cars were built with style, now everything is cheap and pricey, snap on's will snap off.
not really worth your money go get a console or ipod because you really want quality gaming. consoles are just great or even pc which are better. For handheld gaming the ipod touch is probably the best or ipad. Psp's are outdated rusty machines even the psvita is pretty lame. They couldt put a full hd screen in it or 4g internet. The psp is only good for playing ps1 games. Especially crashbandicoot which rules. I bought this because my father likes the certain japanese games and thought it would be a good gift. It was i should say but for my personal prefrence don't bother unless you want japanese games or ps1 games.
The psp 3000 didn't come with a handbook or any kind if instructions so I had a hard time and still sm trying to figure out how to use the machine for my child
Unfortunately, firmware v 6.20 is very bed. Can't install custom firmware. Can play games just from UMD :(. Conditioin of console was good, but NOT excelent.
in my personal opinion this model sucks. it's hard to grab on to and it feels like it's going to fly apart in my hands.
the wifi fails to connect, or loses the connection if you move it more than 3feet. it's especially moody if there is another wifi device nearby. the gameplay doesn't seem any better than the last model. the screen is a tad-bit easier to look at. it is easier to clean. the buttons move and respond pretty well. the speakers and sound are excellent! the back UMD door is allot better than i expected. loading and unloading the UMDs was a breeze.
if i had to compare the 3000 model against it's older siblings; i would have to say it's kind of like, a 3000 turbo-v6 going up against a 2000 high performance-v12.
the 3000 is a high strung, high Maintenance party gadget. where as, in total contrast, the psp 2000 slimline is a steadfast, old school, cool cat full of a modest go get em spirit. kind of like the fonz vs. austin power's girlfriend!
I liked the fact that it was made for a girl. What I dident like is that it is already malfunctioning, it won't play the umd or the videos anymore and my daughter has only had it a couple weeks.
Its a lot cheaper to buy pre-owned. It functions well. Screen a little scuffed. It had USA cables, so I had to buy an adapter, to convert to NZ power, and a memory stick which added quite a lot to the cost. But I am happy.
Nice grafics. My boy enjoys it. Screen size is small so everything looks miniaturized.
I would not purchase it for an adult.
