Having worked for public television, the cameras and most of the video equipment was Sony. With that in mind when purchasing our first flat screen, we bought a Sony LCD TV last Fall. We were extremely impressed by the easy set-up, the audio, the many features, and of course the picture. When deciding to get a second TV for another room Sony was the only brand we considered, and the Sony Bravia has lived up to its fine reputation. This particular set has energy-saving features as well as the ability to download movies, games and other media. It's a fine electronic component and we strongly recommend this product to anyone who appreciates great quality.
Wonderful TV. I can't believe how crisp and clear the picture is. Ultra think profile. Looks great on my bedroom wall and it is just the right size. I am glad I made the purchase!
My 32EX710 was delivered today and as soon as I pulled it out of the box I was impressed with it's sleek design. I used a low profile mount and part of the television on the back panel BARELY fit on the bracket, I am super lucky. After watching a movie, and playing a few XBOX games, the quality of the picture is amazing and the sound is quite impressive for such a small package! I hooked it up to my computer as well and it was flawless in detecting the proper aspect ratio. I definitely recommend this TV for a bedroom or an office.
I just don't enter five stars because the short time since my purchase. Until now, it is very good TV, even better for watching high resolution movies and channels. Very light to handle and electricity saver. I am happy. Thanks.
We received this TV yesterday and it worked nicely out of the box.
Pros: very good picture quality, good design.
Cons: menu is quite complicated, needs internet connection for channel guide to work, remote control is quite big and complicated to use.
We compared this TV to our previous TV that was Samsung 2770HD picture quality wise Sony 32EX710 beats Samsung easily (the price tag is also factor of 2 higher, so you should expect it). Viewing angle is much better on Sony. However remote control is better on Samsung -- much easier to use.
Summarizing I would recommend Sony to Samsung.
I bought this unit for our bedroom. Good size and wanted higher definition picture. Love every thing about it except that network features require a special Sony adapter for wireless network connection. Even with the additional cost for adapter, this set is a good value. Picture compares nicely with a larger plasma set we have in the living room. I would not hesitate to give five stars if the additional adapter wasn't required, we could get Vudu, and the Player upgraded DVD performance.
all systems go...hooked it up out of the box and it is works A+++++++...sony makes a great TV we owned a 50" for 6 years...only replaced a bulb once...
