Sims 2 Nightlife is one of the more favored expansion packs(EP) for the Sims 2 game. Since this is an EP, you will need to own the original Sims 2 game to play.
The best feature of nightlife is the ability to for your sims to own cars. However, one reason why the game gets a good, instead of excellent rating is the sparsity of choice in car ownership. Still, adding garages and outings is a very fun enhancement to the game. With Nightlife, sims can now pick up dates or friends and have an outing on the town. Dates and outings are a new goal oriented task where your sim must exercise social skills to make an enjoyable experience for yourself and your guests. Fun group activities are available with the new interactive objects that come with the EP; bowling, a DJ booth, poker table, and a karaoke machine to name a few. There are 125 new objects total. Another enhancement is the new Pleasure life aspiration. Pleasure sims have life goals of partying, dating, and otherwise enjoying themselves. The game also adds a new area to your neighborhood called downtown. Downtown is populated by down-townies, (non-playable sims, whom your sim can interact with, date, or marry) including a rich "diva" sim who comes with a simolean bonus, vampire sims, who can turn your sim into a vampire, and a gypsy who can cure your sim of vampirism or set them up on a blind date for the right price. These added features make Nightlife a must-have for any sims addict. Sims 2: Nightlife

Nightlife is an interesting expansion for the Sims 2. As oppossed to Univeristy, there's nothing so great added to the game, that you must use the new features, but its chock full of little things that make things easier. Buy this expansion so you can see your neighbors houses from your sims lot, and jump between neighboring houses without loading the neighboring screen. Buy it for the handy community lot menu that pops up when your leaving your lot, so you can select your destination without loading any extra screens. Great game for people who like games that aren't to hard

I've found that Sims 2 is the best sims games out there so I went back to playing this one and night life is one of my favorite expansions I like how I can send my sim out to eat or just to have fun. It makes it more fun. another favorite of mine is the university expansion where I can send my sims to college othough I guess it doesn't help much when they graduate and go to work doesn't seem to matter that they have a college degree like in real life but it's still fun.Read full review...

Giving Your Sims Freedom to Roam

The first expansion pack to the Sims 2 offered by EA Games is definitely a winner on the amount of additional options it gives to your simming. You now have the ability to purchase vehicles, and travel not only within the neighborhood, but also to a "downtown" destination. An excellent addition to the game, that comes with some great new objects as well. New clothes, cars, skins, and hair options. I like how you can take your Sims downtown to go bowling and eat out. I like the fancy dancing lights that you can put into your own household. Not bad for their age

For these games to be 14 to 13 years old they are in pretty good condition! I've been trying to collect all the sims 2 games, since they are my favorite, and some of these I didn't have a change to play. The CD's worked perfectly fine! 🙂Read full review...

The Sims 2: Nightlife

I love the option of having driveways and cars you no longer have to wait for the taxi to come and pick you up and you can also drive your self to work no more beater cars to start with. I like the whole love potion and and being able to ask other sims to hang out or go on dates, I also like the fact you no what other sims are thinking of sims when you come up because of the expressions released of the top of their heads. If you are like me and loved The Sims: Hot Date, then you would love this game!! Not only does it have an AWESOME downtown edition to it, it also allows you to be able to have influence points. This option allows you to be able to make people clean, serve a meal, hug and kiss strangers and gobs of other options. It also allows you to have Dream Dates with someone that you may have a crush on, which brings your mood up all the way if you have one. This game is BY FAR my favorite installment from MAXIS! Back in the old days there was hot date. Nightlife takes that to a new level. you can go downtown alone or with friends, drive a car there if you like! new pleasure aspiration lets you have as much fun as you want. oh yea and did I mention there are now vampires? There are alot of new interactions and gameplay for this one. If you have no other expansion packs, get this one first. put the fun back into your game.Read full review...

Exellent Companion Game

i see my kids living on the sim valley, this game is exellent because there is no violence or dead people, the object is work (hard sometimes) to buy a new home, buy pets, make friends and living the extraordinary experience in a virtual life on Sim´s City.
Be cool buy some for your kids, and support the NON - VIOLENCE GAMES, or if you´re a gamer, buy another for you to.
