Great camera

Love this camera, takes great pictures and easy to use. It came with a lot of accessories that enhance the camera's abilities. The zoom lens that came with it has been great for taking close up photos of the new baby geese on our lake. The additional selections in taking pictures have also proven to be very useful. I have only owned Nikon cameras and this by far is the best one yet, would highly recommend.

Great quality camera!

Love this camera! The second I took a photo with it, I could see a huge difference from my previous camera. I didn't think it would make so much of a difference but my photos have really improved.

Very happy with camera

Great camera, amazing picture quality. Haven't learned how to use it to it full potential yet so can't post a very accurate review yet. Some features are a little tough to use but over all very pleased so far.

Super camera, easy to use with great pictures.

This past year I worked at the Phila. Flower show and had a guest ask me to take a picture of him and his family, he handed me his camera which was the Nikon D5100. From the first time to held this camera I know I would own one. I liked the weight and the feel of the camera in the hands. I used the camera for several weeks now and I can't say I found anything I dislike about it. I loved my Nikon D40 until this camera landed in my hands , now there's no looking back. This is one a great camera.

I bought it for my friend. In general, it's a great camera for the money. Can't expect more for a entry level DSLR.
The imaging quality is good. It's a lil smaller than my D80 but for beginners, it's more than enough.

I love this camera It works geat with my 150-500 lens

I LOVE THIS CAMERA right from the start couldn't hardly wait to get started shooting with it the quality is superb.Bought to upgrade from my d3100.Know I have my 18-55 kit lens on the d3100 for closer shots and land escapes...and the 150-500 lens mostly for wildlife.. and boy does that combo is working beautifully.I am amassed with all the effects,every thing a bought this little jewel.As you can probably noticed I SIMPLY LOVE MY NEW CAMERA thank a million. Great camera, fast, sharp pictures!

This is a great DSLR camera! It is compact, powerful, and fast. I shoot a lot of horse back riding, dancing, as well as pet photography - this camera handles everything I've thrown at it. The controls on the main screen are pretty intuitive and natural to navigate through. My only issue (and it is a very minor one) was at first it felt a little too small in my hands, but after shooting a couple thousand pics with it I have adjusted and am very comfortable with it.
