A lot of people told me this was a bad game. I watched several videos and read several reviews as well. I wasn't gonna buy it based on the enormous amount of negative feedback I received about this game. I eventually saw it here on ebay for a great price and I decided to try it anyway. I discovered that most people never gave this game a chance. The main problem most people had with this game was the fact that you had to collect orbs from downed enemies in order to stay alive. It's like a timer that kills you if don't kill enough people. Any game with this feature has always irritated me to no end. Luckily, I found a cheat to add orbs to your meter whenever you want. If you use this code while playing the game it makes it a much better game. I'm not really a fan of cheats, at least not until I've discovered all I can about the game without them, but in this case I made an exception. If you take the time to find this cheat you will love this game. I'm not even a big fan of most shooters, but I like this game and I hope to beat it more than once. Seriously, give this game a chance. You can find it for under $20 on Ebay if you're patient.
As an adult that play's a lot of video games, I did have fun with this one. The controls are solid, the graphics good, it is set in an interesting, ever changing environment, and the gun play is entertaining. I was considering giving LP-EC an average rating, but the bosses are huge and each one requires a different strategy when trying to defeat it, so I am bumping it up to good. And the VS (virtual suit- an armored bot with guns and missile launchers attached ) are fun to equip. This is a good game to fill in the time while waiting for the next Bioshock to come around.
Item was at great price, it has exellent graphics, story is not that challeging but this game exeeds in online mode. Has imense maps and a variety of them includin one that will take you to your nes years, have fun and hide and snipe anyone in sight. Go team on team up to 16 people with voice chat enabled to plan your attacks. Your are the target in fugitive so run for your life and post graph well its just plain fun. This game gets a 8/10.
I really like the online play of this game. Maybe it is because people are harder to kill than the easy computer characters that run the same patterns like this is still the NES. It will not take you more than 6 hours to beat the game mode, but there is still plenty of fun to be had killing people on line. The graphics are really good on this game. The only other negative is the fact that everything moves so slow. Unlike games like call of duty 4 or RFOM, the characters seem to move in much slower motion. This is great for helping you kill other players, but while you are shooting them they are also shooting you. LOL
I bought the game for my son and he truly enjoys it. It has lots of action and he is also able to play online with many of his friends.
Good game, especially for the price. If you like 3rd person shooters, this one will help you get your fix. Fairly slick graphics, especially with large explosions. The frame rate drops a bit on occasion when there are a lot of enemies on the screen, but it isn't too intrusive and no where near as bad as most review sites make it out to be.
Fun game to play, love the challenges of the boss, levels, creatures. The big thing i like about this game is the different mech you can pilot and each has a different ability. The 2nd cool thing is that you can use regular weapons or take weapons off the mechs and use them yourself. The thing i dont like is the that through the game you have to keep a certain level of t energy to stay alive and pilot your mechs, but other than thing its a good game
Lost Planet begins many years into the future where you work as a space pirate who was revived after some cataclysmic encounter years before with a giant alien creature. The world is vast with many places to explore, the enemies are many and danger great. Try it.....maybe you will be able to survive Lost planet.
Good game, hard to get use to the controlls. So far the story line is nice and able to follow..though the T rating it maybe too hard for younger players to follow. The visuals are great and with the HD ability of the PS3 the game looks great.
A top game for PS3....
CAPCOM is another company that DOESN'T make bad games.
Extreme online play, good single player levels.
solid replay value, good weapons
No trophies..Major sadness
IF everything else you want is sold out, throw this under the tree and
this WILL keep them busy for awhile.
