My girls and I love this movie also. It reminds me when I was little and watching Lady and the Tramp as a child. Its a story of Lady and the Tramp having a pup named scamp. Scamp is always getting in trouble. He leaves home and meets a female dog name Angel. He has to decide between a life of the Junkyard or his love of his family. This is a great addition to your Disney collection and a must see for all those with kids.
Buy this movie before July fourth and play it for the whole family. I love this movie because Scamp learns the importance of a home. He learns that his father, the Tramp, was the king of the streets many years ago. Scamp longs for the street-hood life where he can be free to run, but he meets a lady who wishes she had a family like Scamps. Scamp runs away from home to find that freedom and happiness are in the heart of his own backyard.
the movie is good. i disagree with the fact that it teaches kids bad things. all kids go through a stage where they do not listen and have an attitude problem. what the movie does is show that in the end its better to listen to your parents and doing the bad things gets you in touble. parents who feel the movie is offensive should check out reality and the world today. you can't always shelter your kid from those things. and you can't stop them from going through the stage. the movie is teaching kids its not right. not that its ok. and when they take scamps girlfriend in it was out of compassion. it shows kids that strays need a home to. and deserve it as well. they have a hard knock life and they deserve to find love and compassion and some one to care for them. i personally think the movie was great and it teaches lessons not just to kids but also to adults that arent so small minded to pay attention.
I bought this disk as a replacement to the VHS. My daughter loves this movie and thinks it is the best one ever made. I think that the story line is easy for young children to follow and the colors are great. The characters are lovable as well. I would recomend this movie to anyone who loves dogs or anyone who really loved Lady and the Tramp.
Much like the original Walt Disney Classic, "Lady & The Tramp" this DVD is a contiuance of Scamp's Adventures. My granddaughter loved it...I highly recommend! It's another Walt Disney Classic, that does not ever grow old, from generation-to-generation...
For a disney sequel it was good , but also a little cheesey. Its cool to see a little more of Lady and the Tramp. It's funny because we learn more about Tramp through his son Scamp. Scamp who wants to be just like his father w/o even knowning it . He wants to be "a wild dog " and live life w/o house rules. Which leads him to run away and have a life adventure . If you have kids show them this movie and you can say this is what happens when you don't listen to Mom and Dad. Lol . It is a very cute disney movie and great for the family and watch it July 4th because thats the holiday where the movie starts out and we see the town .
This is the continuation of Tramp's family with a young son just like him! It is a great story of Tramp's tring to be a good parent. The price for this 2006
DVD was excellent compared to the shelf price at it's release. I love the lessons in the movie.
Every young man dreams of making something of himself. He wants to lead and be strong! He wants to set a goal and attain it! However in this process many times he overlooks the problems of his decision and sees only the bright side of things.
He's determined do as he wishes and does not consider the problems he will encounter. He wants to turn away at least for a time from all the advice of others, including his parents and do what he wants for a change! When the trials become tough and he's not prepared for them, he begins to realize the importance of thinking through things before making such a hasty decision.
When Skamp returns it was important to see Tramp accept him completely. Forgiveness is taught very well in this movie.
Excellent Movie, Mildred Epp
I have not seen the movie so my rating is based on the grandchildren's account of what they saw. They loved it so I love it. I bought this DVD along with two others they wanted and my daughter tells me they watch Lady and the Tramp at least twice a day. So I just assume they realy like it.
Lady and the Tramp is one of my favorite disney films. This film takes place after the first. It's just as ejoyable. It teaches a valuble lesson in learnig to appreciate what you have. Trying to get what you want can be nice, but it can be risky in some ways. Beside, it's having what you need that's really important like a home, a family, and love.
This is a great film. Good characters and adventurous story. I like it when sequels are made. This is suitable disney film for all ages.
