My smartphone can't accept nor send texts with pics. I gave it a 2 star because so far I can only talk and text (but without pis). As far as downloads, my phones tells me I don't have the apps. connection. Don't know if this is because I have a service name Pageplus (which is on the verizon network). With Pageplus I'm suppose to have 20 mb of internet but can't get the connection. I contacted the co. I ordered phone from abt. a month ago & to no avail. Music and ringtones I don't know if I can get that either. HAven't tried. You get a cd manual that doesn't tell you abt. features just a guide that tells you where buttons are. SO I don't know if this is a show and show phone with only talk and text, But smart it isn't. Unless someone knows some magical way to add apps. that a smartphone should have especially if you're paying for 20mb of internet.
First time using ebay and we buy the LG EnV2. It was beautiful when it arrived. Nicely packed, with a wall and car charger. We couldn't have been more pleased until 5 days later when it stopped charging. We took it to the Verizon Store and were told the internal workings had came apart. Great! Were stuck with a phone that looks nice, but won't charge. Out $60 for five days of usage. This product is JUNK!
I always get the free phone. This time I treated myself-bad move. I have been with verizon for 1 1/2yrs and have had this phone replaced 3x. First battery issues.then internal keys stopped working. Now i am getting poor coverage where I used to get a full signal.I know three people that have these or other issues as well. The only things i use my phone for are texting and talking and it's great for texting when the keys work. Never again.
I love this phone as far as features: the QWERTY keyboard, the outside screen, and the amount of games, rongtones, etc that canbe out on it. Downside? I had this phone for 1 1/2 yrs and had to have it replaced 5 times. First 2 times the battery was bad. Then the next 2 times, I had it replaced because every time Iclosed it, it would power off. The last time I replaced it was because 1 word into a text, it would reboot my phone(power down, then start back up). I finally went to Verizon and refused to take a replacement enV2.
Pro: almost everything
Con: if I didnt pay for phone insurance every month, I would have been screwed out of a lot of money...
NOT WORTH IT
Keys stick making texting difficult, battery life is horrible, texting is badly organized so you can't follow a stream of texts, don't buy this phone.
I never did get to use this phone, because the phone did not work properly and I needed to send it back. I had them in the past and I had all kind of issues with it from cracked speaker, speaker going out, dropping calls and never receiving calls and texts. I went thru 5 phones in 2 years. I am sure you are wondering why I would order another??? My fiance had 1 of these phones in 2 years and he never had a problem with his. I talked him into getting a new one when his contract said he was able and he did not like his new phone and always says he wishes he kept his old one.....so I was purchasing him one. Well the one that arrived seemed to have all the issues mine had in the past. I then read the reviews and a lot of the reviews said about having all the issues as I had in the past.
This phone has poor coverage and poor battery life. Do not buy this product. This must have been why the guy sold it.
My daughter and I both had new EnV2 phones with our current verizon service. Both new phones were lost and we bought a refurbished one from a very reputable company (PC Mobile, out of California--I would recommend them to anyone.)
The phone kept shutting off, not receiving texts, buttons didn't seem to respond, so we replaced the battery and the problems got worse. If you blog online about this phone you will learn that as it gets older, these types of issues can occur. It appears to be a software problem.
We called PC Mobile about the phone they sold us and they reported having gotten it refurbished from Verizon directly. It will be returned there, also.
My suggestion to anyway buying a new or used cell: Go online and look for blogs
to see what sorts of issues folks are having. Env2 is a good phone when it is working, and impossible to use when it is deteriorating. It is also, apparently, impossible to repair at that point.
the sides were scratched up. front screen went out. memory card wasnt included like ad said over all bad experience
I purchased two ENV 2 phones, one red and the other is black. The black one keeps turning off by itself and the front screen can't be unlocked, so I can't use the front for calling or texting. It is very frustrating. The red phone was for my daughter and the only trouble she has had is one of the numbers sticking. I just activated the black one 2 days ago and have contacted the seller to see if there is anything I can do about replacing it.
