I love how the front screen is bigger than most others. Excellent keyboard. I bought it because I liked the looks of it, it is slimmer than most, and the over all look is really cool!!
(written by my 19 year old daughter).
Love this phone. Much better than the env2 cuz there is many more capabilities on the front. Only thing that takes a little getting used to is that the spacebar is now in the middle instead of on the right (internal). Perfect phone though for any texter.
I bought the LG EnV3 because my daughter has one and loves it. After I got mine I could see why. It has voice dial - if you like that kind of thing. I don't use it but I DO use the querty keyboard on the inside - it's great for texting. The software is intuitive. There is always a label on-screen that tells you what button to push to accomplish your task. You can save all sorts of information in the contacts list, including a mailing address! The list of "tools" is extensive, including a notepad and a calendar and an awesome alarm clock that allows up to ten different alarms that can be set for daily, weekdays, or weekends, and they are saved until you delete or edit them. This phone allows the user a lot of choices. The camera takes wonderful photos with good resolution. When printed at a drugstore or Walmart the pictures rival those from my old Kodak! If I were going to complain about one thing, though it would be that you MUST open the telephone up to access some of the facilities. You cannot edit a the contact list without opening it up, for instance, or set an alarm, or use the calendar. But that is just one small drawback among so many positive traits. The battery life is great - I charge about once a week but if you talk on your phone a lot you might have to charge more often, of course. And if you are getting "no service" of course that drains the battery pretty quickly, so keep an eye on that. But all in all, I do not intend to replace this phone with a new one at the end of my contract (New every Two, from Verizon) but instead will go to eBay and just HOPE someone has an LG EnV3 they want to sell - although I don't know WHY anyone would want to sell it once they've used it!
This is a great phone! After buying and selling many cell phones, I decided this is my favorite. The design is very nice and trendy, the keyboard
is easy to use and the buttons are nicely spaced, and it has an
awesome camera! I love all of the features and it's much better
than any touch screen. It's too hard to text on a touch screen. I will
never go back to a regular flip phone...I love the qwerty keyboard! I'd
say the only complaint I really have is the mandatory data plan. I do
access the internet, but not so much that I need the plan, but I have to
have it in order to keep this phone. No big deal...but this is a nice phone, with great features, for a reasonable price!
I decided to buy this phone because my brother has the maroon version of it, and I liked it. It's slim, easy to use and the full flip-up keyboard is awesome. Great call quality and easy to read screen. Overall a great phone for simple people.
I am a Verizon customer and decided to down grade from a Blackberry to cut cost. The phone is great, good battery life, manageable keyboard for easy texting. The LG NV3 handles well not to big or to small easly fits into a shirt pocket or pants pocket. The camera takes excellent pictures, very clear, clean and sharp. Numerous amount of features that I'm still discovering.
There is soo much to say about this phone, where do I begin?! I'll start off by saying this is literally the best phone I have EVER used!! I was weary about getting this phone at first, vs. the Droid and the Voyager, but I definately do not regret my decision! I chose it because of it's sleek look and great keyboard. So let me just say that I am a teenager, so I am very hard on phones, without meaning to be! This phone is what I like to call the indestructa-phone! Mine has been through everything you could possibly imagine, and has still survived! This phone is the perfect phone for anyone! It's easy to use, with a full QWERTY keyboard, great 3.0 megapixel camera with numerous fun picture settings, fast access buttons such as a speaker phone button and favorite contact button. I would forget trying to get the latest "coolest" phone, because this is MUCH better! With all the talk about touch screens and such, this is a million times better! Most touch screens react slow, and act up, but this phone is soooo fast! Even with 896 pictures, countless drops in water, the ground, rocks, etc. it stills runs almost as fast as it did when I first got it! It also is good for any age, tech-savvy or not! It has many great features (such as the camera, automatic txting, etc.,etc.) but if your not the greatest with technology, you can completely ignore them, and still get great quality sound, and texting from this phone. And also, it's just the right size to fit ANYWHERE!!! Pocket, purse, small handbags, your sock if your running, if you wear those thick band/logo bracelets, it fits perfect there, too! The only thing even remotely bad about this phone is that it does randomly shut off sometimes. I found that this is because the battery tends to jiggle loose, occasionally. If it really bothers you, all you have to do is get two tiny pieces of duct tape and put it on each end of the phone, and if you have a case, slip it on right over that and your good to go! Overall though, this phone rocks!
the enV3 is the best phone i ahve ever had. Great picture taking abilities and very easy ti text. using a phone has never been so easy for me!!!
I LOVE THIS PHONE! I purchased the LG enV3 after having my eye on it for some time. I wasn't sure if I could get used to the full keyboard but it sure doesn't take long! The more I play with it, the more I discover that it does. I'm sure there are even more features if I read the manual :o). Some of the features that I love is that it hold many more texts than my old phone and it categorizes them by contacts. No more scrolling through every single text. I also love how the message you're answering is still displayed while I'm writing back. If you're busy or driving (because I'm sure you don't want to text while driving) there's even an option where the phone speaks your text message to you! I would highly recommend this phone. I paid a higher price because I didn't want to be back under contract but I believe this phone is FREE or at a very minimal cost if you sign up for a 2 year contract. My friend just got this same phone and she totally agrees with me!
Latest device for my phone a holic daughter. nice device. a real improvement over the EnV. It is lighter in weight and has much larger keys on the front making it much easier to dial. The original had very tiny keys making phone dialing extremely difficult.
