one of the few players that is Cinavia FREE i can watch all my back up movies buy this player. The player has very few basic features does not come with wifi and netflix work good.
LG lives up to its name. Encoded software allowed for playing of multiple video/audio formats. Our kids' LG 42" LCD recognized player immediately upon connecting utilizing HDMI cable. NETFLIX streaming was remarkable and video quality suberb. With the simplink auto detect, my kids can turn on the player, insert a disc and away it goes, no using remotes to change inputs or even channels! Onscreen display is great, especially showing --MPS on backup DVDs.
The LG BD630 is a solid little Blu-Ray player without the bells and whistles that can add $50-100 to the price, and which are very rarely used anyways. The best part about the LG BD630 is that it provides streaming for Netflix (and others), but another GREAT feature is the USB port in the front of the player that allows us to download movies (including HD) from Vuze, save them to a thumbdrive, and pop it in the blu-ray. The picture quality using the USB port is excellent - a major bonus!!! If you can find the LG BD630 for under $75, buy it, and you got yourself a real nice blu-ray player at a great price. I give the LG BD630 5 stars at a price under $75, 4 stars at a price under $90. If you are going to spend $100+ you are probably looking for a wireless player with more features and multiple streaming options, so there are likely other player options out there that may better suite your needs.
Very easy to setup. The wired internet connection works very well and does a good job streaming movies from Netflix and others. If you prefer a wireless connection spend a few more dollars and get the LG BD670. The wireless internet connection is flawless. I have both unis and for the price they are hard to beat.
I was looking for an affordable blu-ray player that allowed USB input and played files of various formats, including .avi and .mkv files. The LG BD360 does just that. I have read it also reads NTFS formatted USB drives, which is great, because the FAT32 format restricts file sizes larger than 4GB. Though this player does not have WiFi capability, it can be hardwired. I have other devices that can stream Netflix and Youtube, so this wasn't an issue for me. The player loads blu-rays quickly, and the menus are easy to navigate. The remote is light and nicely sized.
It is very good and works for all the dvds i have region 1 or 2, and also on bluray and usb disk movies with awesome video quality, the dvd have better image in the lg bd 630 then they have in a regular dvd player
It's a great player. . I have had great experiences with the LG line of Blu-Ray players, so I bought this one as a gift for someone, and they have given it nothing but high praise.
It's small enough to fit most places, light weight, loads discs incredibly fast, and just does everything it says it will and does everything amazingly well. .
great for streaming netflix easy to set up no problems i havent tried vudu but plan to .its a little noisy the first time i played a blu-ray dvd but the sound is great and so is the picture so over all for the price you cant go wrong
I never thought I would by another disc player;however this player has so much that it is like another computer. I also love the picture quality. Since I have a LG television the remote control is very easy to use. It was also easy to connect to other electronic appliances. Overall quality A. Price A. Easy to use remote.
I love to watch movies, but didn't want to used my ps3 as my regular bluray , and this was one of the first players that really stand up, it works amazing, it's really an amazing product, and am totally glad i bought this
