This is a totally enjoyable game. The graphics are really well done and authentic to the Lego look. The game is a series of challenges (puzzles) to get past that require a mix of action, thought, and collaboration. Each character has attributes that can get you by rough areas of the game, and you can buy and switch characters as needed. Although the game requires fighting to get by the bad guys, the level of stress is low and you even come right back after dieing (minus your gold). My grandchildren clued me in to this game while visiting for Christmas :)
Fun game based on star wars and Lego. when a character dies, they break into Lego pieces. Two seconds later, back in one piece and playing again. Grandkids (7&6) love this game. Game is hard enough to be challenging but not so hard that you lose interest. With the free play option, hours of replay after finishing story line.
This game follows the Star War Saga and is exciting and fun to play. I especially like the fact that it can be played alone or with another player. If played by two players either player can leave the game at anytime without making the other player stop playing and come back into the game at anytime.This game was purchased for children but the adults have enjoyed playing it also. Good family fun.
I bought it for my kid and he absolutely loves it. This game is very user friendly, and it good for kids of all ages. The game play takes you thoughout all 3 of the first episodes of Star Wars, and lets you become any of the characters. You have to raise enough to buy the characters. Overall an excellent game, and my kids are looking forward to the new Lego Star Wars II.
Super playability, perfect for most younger children. This game is full of amusing little tidbits which surprise and amuse those who are old enough to actually have seen the Star Wars movies in the theater. Progressive story mode takes mental effort and aquired skills to complete, but are within the grasp of my 5-yr-old. He can barely read, but he's figuring out the game! It's not getting old and boring either. It's holding on as the most popular game in the house!
We have a Wii console, and I had a Gamecube controller in my parts bucket. For Wii, you MUST have a GC controller or two, and I highly recommend a GC memory card if you want to save games. Access to the plugin ports for both is under hidden doors on the top of the Wii console. Plays perfectly on the Wii.
For what these games are going for on eBay, it's a great value, even after you find a controller and memory card! I highly recommend it.
lego star wars is a great and exciting game. the clips at the beginning of every story is great. although the video game is different in how the stroys occour and that not all the people in the real movies aren`t in the video game this game rocks. in all three of the eposides there is a pilot level. in eposide one you control anakins pod racer or another persons pod racer.in eposide two you pilot the republic gunship. and in eposide three you control either obi-wans or anakins starfighter. this game has so many things to do you will love it. hope this helps.

I bought this for my 5 year old son. He loves the game. Easy to play and no violence like the other Star Wars games. Great Game.
If you're a Star Wars fan and even if not, this game is fun and easy to play. I have an 8 year old daughter who loves to play it. No gore, bad language or excessive violence outside of the Star Wars world.
LEGO Star Wars is an unexpected new favorite. The graphics are great, and the LEGO pieces, characters, scenery and vehicles that are used are extremely accurate. There are an insane amount of characters, and very entertaining game layout. I was addicted the moment I played the first level. I can't wait for the sequel. yes it's made so that kids can play it, but I enjoyed it thoroughly as an adult.
This game is a blast!! We purchased the game for my 5 year old son. The whole family became Star Wars addicts as a result. This game is simple enough for a 5 year old yet challenging enough for an adult. The game has various levels to complete and many different characters to earn throughout the game. This game can be played by 1 or 2 players. However, it is more fun with 2. This is a great game to teach team work, logical skills and tremendous fun at the same time. This game is worth every cent!!
