this is the 2nd kodak easy share that I personally bought.I love the pictures they take, there are no cameras out there that even comes close to the quality of pictures they take.I love the fact that I don't have to take the film in to be developed, I can do it all right here at home instantly. The one thing I was disappointed with was the batteries were dead when I recieved the camera ,I put in different batteries and the camera works great wether it is a still picture, action picture or even a picture taken at night, the camera is just a great camera
I bought my wife this camera as a Christmas gift because I had heard that it was a simple to use quality camera at a reasonable price.
I am very dissatisfied with this Kodak Easy Share camera. It seems that half the time the pictures turn out very dark and grainy when using the flash.
The Auto feature does not work properly. If I am to understand this feature meaning that it is basically automatically programming the camera to take the best picture possible considering the elements and conditions when the camera is being used. It would be better not to have this feature at all.
The battery life is very short, and they need to be changed far too often for practical use.
I recommend anybody considering buying this camera to shop around, spend a little more and get a camera that will be more user friendly and produce better quality pictures.
I really wish that I had not bought this camera, and anybody that is reading this can benefit from my mistake.
"It's an average camera. However it is low cost. Navigating through the "on-screen" options takes longer than with other cameras that have a button specific to a particular function. For example: Some cameras have a "timer" button that you simply press and pose. This camera requires 7 button pushes to activate the 10 second "timer." I had a less expensive Kodak that you only had to push one button, one time. Don't know why Kodak didn't just use the same feature on this camera.. Otherwise, it is an average camera that does get the job done." "It is very easy to use this camera, that my 7 year old granddaughter can use it. Great quality pictures and video."It's an average camera. However it is low cost. I love the camera- the pictures are excellent. It took a while to get used to the different settings - but otherwise is simple and easy to use. My only problem - and my fault for not investigating more - is that the power is supplied by AA batteries. I have a Kodak Easyshare 8.2 and the same cable I download with recharges the battery. My mistake - but the camera works great and I had no problems at all using the same software in my computer. I don't regret buying it - it really takes wonderful photos and is easy to use in a variety of settings. I bought it for EBay, and our pictures turn out fabulous. Much more clarity and detail. It was a bargain.
