They stand behind their product!!

I bought a pair of Heresy II's back in the eraly 1980's...after about 8 years of use, I heard some rattling in the base...after further checking them out, I found the corners of the cabinets were becomming seperated by about 1/4 of an inch.! I took them back to the store that I prchased them from, and just asked to have them re-glued...they sent them back to the factory, and Klipsch said, this should have never happened!...there were no signs of damage, or water, etc.....THEY SENT ME A BRAND NEW REPLACEMENT PAIR!!!! this was over 8 years, and they never even asked for the original reciept!....ALSO...I had the attached stand on my old pair...and the store clerk told me when i got the new replacement pair, that my stands might not match the new wood grain...guess what!!! when i got them home and unpackaged them...KLIPSCH sent, and attached a new set of stands also!!....I hope anyone that reads this, and is undecided about Klipsch, decides to purchase a Klipsch product! They stand behind their equipment, and obviously, their name! Note:...I had a pair of Bose 901's prior to purchasing the Klipsch Heresy two's...and, if I had to do it all over again, would stay with the Klipsch!!! the new pair they sent me back in the late 80"s, are still kicking out the sound!!!! LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND THE COMPANY!!!!!! Thank YOU Klipsch!!!Read full review...

A Large Sound From a Small Package.

I purchased a pair of Heresy II's in 1983, along with a Luxman receiver, a nice turntable, and a $275.00 CD player(hey, they'd only been pressing CD's a couple years). When my friends would audition my new system, they simply couldn't believe their ears! How in the HELL did all that sound come out of those small enclosures? One friend even smirked and did that face, you know, that condescending crap. He was quickly corrected and stunned when, after asked what his favorite group was (I already knew), I let him have both 12" barrels, and four horns at about 89 -92 dbl spl. It was great fun. And it still is. They still kick ass. Believe me, for $750.00 for the pair, it is the greatest bargain I've ever made. Do yourself a favor and audition a set of Klipsch speakers. You. Will. Smile. ;-)Read full review...

Best of my Klipsch experience

I've owned Heresy I, Heresy II, KG4 (with crites upgrade) and I must say with my mcintosh tube gear it all sounds great. However, I do prefer my II's over all of the others. They cover the highs and mid's in a spectacular way that all cone speakers cannot. The low end is a bit light in it's cycles, but 50 hz is where a good sub can assist and I plan to add one in the future. I would highly recommend any of the Heritage family of Klipsch speakers for any kind of musical sound stage.Read full review...

They sound great using MC 225 amp through MX 112 Pre amp with a Numark Pro TT 1 Turntable aqnd a Zoom Multi Track Digital recorder CD player as sources in addition to the MX 112 AM/FM tuner. They look pretty darn good for Speakers that were buit in they seventies - or so. Price was reasonable. Shipping was high but packed very well.Read full review...

Speaker review

The speakers sound great! I was pleased with the timely delivery. I decide to refinish the speakers and after striping them down to bare wood determined that the wood grain was different and match up for each speaker, but I'm still pleased with the end result. They sound and look great now!Read full review...
