Fun for casual active play and lite exercise Get up off the couch and move!

Great party game or to even just stay in shape. The only complaint is that on Wii, the system detects your movement based on the remote and it's relative position and shock absorption, and not your actual movements. This fact lends to difficulty in the games interpretation of your actual dancing and it makes it very difficult to earn the max amount of points even if you do all the moves perfect. I haven't tried it for Xbox, but I know the Kinect looks for your hand movement. The only problem with that is the Kinect requires more space than the Wii does. With that said, the game works great, and if you do it as a competitive party game, then the star rating system will rate it accurately based, relative to the quality of dance among the group. Be read to move and have free space available so you don't whack each other in the face. Space in front of the TV is just as important as space from side to side.Read full review...

great product for 2011-2012, still wait for next generation games!

Very good idea of spending time, and dance; from all the songs I like 80%,of them; also I like the options on the Wii, that is like a interactive game. I try/play for aproximativ 80 hours, and looks like has no problems; but like any game need to "feel" the remote in your hand in order to score.
I buy this product to dance, make exercise and loose weight.
I never try other products compare to this, but I buy this after asking for the best performance, best money can buy today, this is the reason that I wait from August 2011.
I will hope my next buy will be next game generation, where the brain will control without remote.Read full review...

Skip Just Dance 2 and Head for 3

Far better than Just Dance 2, doesn't lag and has a better menu. If you like Just Dance 1 it will be a bit of a difficult change but most games after Just Dance have changed to this model but once you pick up on it it's OK and fun. Would recommend this game!Read full review...

Just Dance 3 brings an interactive aspect to the game you are going to love

I bought this as a birthday present for myself. Selfish I know, but there it is. I love it! My son, age 10, and I have excersized to it repeatedtly. It is so much better than the other Just Dance games, it is truly interactive. The controller has sound effects when combinations are completed accurately. There are medals for completing various tasks. By earning stars you unlock new variations on songs and new levels of play- like simon says. It has a specific sweat menu to help burn the calories. In the multi-dancer songs you can pick the dancer you want to follow instead of it just being assigned. You dance away without really realizing how much time has passed- although the next day your muscles let you know it had an effect.
