Outstanding camera.

My son has the same camera that he used when he was dirt bike riding. Since it took outstanding videos, I also bought one only mine was to be attached to a remote control airplane. I do not use the video portion but rather have the camera set to a take a picture every 2 seconds. When the pictures are loaded into a computer, you are able to zoom in real close. This is real handy around our flying field since it is surrounded by woods and swamp. Three planes have been found thanks to my GoPro, that enough makes it well worth the selling price.

I have tried other cameras on my remote control airplane but none of them stand up to this camera. Those cameras are now gathering dust.

I plug in the USB cord Friday night for a day of flying on Saturday and have never run out of power.

I really like this camera and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a great photo/video camera.

GREAT PRODUCT

I am more than happy with my purchase of the Gopro hd hero 960. i bought this item because i do action sports such as motocross skydiving diving skiing snowboarding bmx etc etc. I was leery considering its only 960 but when i used it HOLY COW. I couldnt tell the difference between 960p on the gopro and 1080p on my contour plus. The contour being nearly 4x as expensive and not having as good of video quality. This camera is a steal for the money and is basically no different from 1080 especially if you upload to youtube. youtube and many other video sharing sites only allow for 720 anyways so this is plenty. I use a Sandisk 16gb micro sdhc with adapter and it works great

Extremly durable camera with good picture quality and avrage sound..

(This is my first headmount camera so I dont have mutch to compare it with. But have had regular dv cameras)

Naturally it wont pic up low volume noise very well when in the watertight casing. But it´s easy to keep it open a little but if you need to hear what people are talking about, sometimes there´s some "plasticy" scrambel noises when the camera moves around inside the casing during more hard use for example due to vibrations when strapped to a car etc..

The picture quality is amazing when there is sufficent light , sunlight, well lit supermarkets etc.. however when using indoors where there is just normal yellowish lightbulbs the picture will appear darker than seen by the eye. You can forget seeing anything in moonlight etc. allthou the aparture is very big F2.8 , this still dosent work well in low light conditions while filming. (Havent tryed out taking pictures in low light)

For the price I dont think there is anything that can beat it. It seems extremly robust (survived oktoberfest!:P), havent yet tryed out if it´s waterproof but aslong as the silicone seal is in good condition and firmly in place I would trust using it for diving.

Awesome camera love go pros. This 960 has great picture I was super surprised. I can't see believe that the pic quality can get even better with the 1080. Great price too!! Battery life is amazing also. The only thing thing I didn't like is this package did not come with the 90 degree turn mount.

Great camera well worth the money.

Works great and take awesome video. Video even looks great on my big screen tv. Battery life is great and charges quickly. Camera is light enough to be mounted on my motorcycle helmet and records great. Even at 100mph the sound is great with vary little wind noise.

with new go pro's on the market, this model has proven reliable, easy to use, one third the price of current model. As a second view camera, works very well, outdoors while adventuring.

Small size, great quality!

This camera is great! With all the different mounts, you can get pretty creative with your shots. Shooting in 720p HD, the footage turns out great. Very good color and quality. Hard to beat it for the size.

Great camera!

Ordered it mainly for go kart racing and going to use it on my street bike and ATV... Works get good picture, good sound, not sure if it has an auto cut off if you leave it on by accident. I've made that mistake a couple times and was unable to capture all races in one night. If you dont have a computer you charge it.. All and all super good camera!

I bought this product as a birthday present for my brother, who is a dirtbike rider. It holds in place as he's riding, the sound and picture quality is good, and it is overall easy to use.
