Great start for anyone freeman aspiring to become a Mason. The book is informative and educational. It articulates specific practices used in Freemason with explicit details. Although, the print is kind of small it’s still legible. Overall, the book is a great read.
For the first time in nearly 300 years, the complete and detailed ceremonial rituals and initiations of Freemasonry;
The last time such an attempt was made, the authors’ body turned up, it created quite a stir at the time, to the point of instigating an Anti-Mason US Political Party, which had rallied considerable support.
Politics and history aside, to practitioners of the Craft, to members of the Order, friends and companions alike; come and see the Spirit of Freemasonry; exposed are the allegorical and cryptic rituals of the Blue Lodge, Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, Master Mason and all those of the York Rite, Mark Master, Past Master, Most Excellent Master and Royal Arch; with extracts of a Masonic Dictionnary and and Appendix -and see for yourself the spiritual harmony intertwined and imbeded within the ceremonies and rituals; including absolutely every detail from secret passwords, secret handshakes, due guard signs, tokens, lectures, knocks... the works, with copious explanatory notes.
very usefull for preparation before degrees. many pictures to clarafy parts of lodge and main floor of soloman's temple. uses examples to specify variation to meetings including interuptions. Explainations of symbolism.
I really like this book. It was very informative. I just wish it continued with the other degrees. I really found this book to be a must have. I think the printing could've been done using a bigger font.
