Time Travel Video Game Stuck Ironically In The Past

This game is clearly a product of its time how ironic? It only could have been made in the Xbox 360/PS3 era when people liked unique ideas and almost anything could be put onto consoles. It's an okay game. Frame rate is terrible. Graphics are pretty bad. But the gameplay is neat and has some interesting ideas. Also, this is a super easy 1000 gamerscore. Darkest of Days Xbox 360

The game has an awesome theme, it covers a lot of different wars not seen in most war games.. namely the civil war(the north and the south), however the game is labeled live but you are not able to play with anyone else period........and that really is the downfall of this game...great idea but it is lacking its most essential part...
I would imagine alot of people being disappointed that they are unable to connect and play with friends.. other than that the game is fairly simple, newer weapons, different angle and plot...old battles..Read full review...

Interesting...but no.

I got this game based solely on the concept of it. Traveling through time with modern and advanced weapons in order to alter history. It sounds like a great game on paper. I only gave it two stars because it features some Civil War and Indian War battles, which very few games do. The game is also quite glitchy. You can stand right in an enemies line of sight and they will somehow overlook you. I would recommend this game only to those who are willing to pay over $20 for an interesting but not-so-fun game.Read full review...

Darkest of Days (My review)

I have to say I am pretty disappointed in this game. It seems all your doing is going around shooting at people and throwing glowing balls.
I found it hard at some points and repeating the missions while other times extremly rediculous.
It was a disappointment. I think they could of put more of a twist on it.
Maybe made it more interactive with if you say something to someone to pursade them and it changes the game etc etc. For example the way Fallout 3 works.Read full review...

worst of 08?

This may be the worst game to come out in 2008. I purchased it knowing that. This game had potential to be incredibly great, but it was rushed at the end, and not finished correctly. The A.I is mentally retarded (at best) you can stand right next to an enemy and he will not shoot you. They stole the shooting mechanics from Gears of War. Some levels are incredibly hard, while others are super simplistic. At times you have no clue where to go, and the map sucks. I looked forward to this game before it came out, and heard how it sucked hard, and was no where to be found in stores so I waited to buy it cheap on e bay just to play the levels, and it was worse than I was told. If you're just super curious like I was, check it out. Otherwise you should be buying FALLOUT NEW VEGAS BEST GAME EVER (next to FALLOUT 3!!!!)Read full review...

Interesting concept, but execution is somewhat lacking.

Hop from time period to time period to save history. Not a terrible game, but could have been much better. Average to poor gameplay mechanics, graphics, and voice acting. This game is rather hard to find, and maybe with good reason.Read full review...

This game is in need of glitch removals. There are so many issues with this game that it makes me not want to play. You can stand right in front of many of the enemies and they look away like you not there. Lots of shaky scenes. The only reason this game was rated "M" is because the makers put in the F word in most of the dialog. For what reason? The game is weak. I made a mistake purchasing this game.Read full review...
