Cowboys & Aliens (DVD, 2011)

When I first saw this film I was somewhat at a loss. The movie left a lot to be understood, and frankly, I thought that I must have dozed off and missed something. So I watched it again, and I didn't miss anything. This film is as if they took something like The Magnificent Seven and some 1960's low budget Si-Fi movie with big name stars, and tried helter-skelter to make a new kind of movie. Alright, I guess that aliens could have come down to Earth in 1880, as easily as 2010, but if they have that kind of technology, why would they want to 'study us for weakness'? They'd just kick our ass back two hundred miles and vaporize anything that got into their way.
This movie is like something from M. Night Shyamalan, with his "Signs" or "Lady in the Water".

It and OK Movie not great but Ok could have been better !!

Nothing new in this movie it kinda like been there done that plot before. Acting so so Love interest Ok. Aliens just like all the others never do say anything and viewer does not know where they come from. 50% actors wer not needing this movie and too many sub plots. I give it 2 stars and if you have nothing better to watch OK have at it.

Watch it streaming through one of the internet services and save some money

Pretty good movie. Not overly impressive, but a decent film to occupy a couple hours. If you can, view it on Netflix, VuDu, or CinemaNow for $3.99. I doubt if I'll ever get bored enough to watch it again even though I bought the DVD.

Watch if you want, but don't pay for it.

Great combination of actors, but really hard to see Harrison Ford as a bad guy. A lot of action, but not a movie I would recommend seeing in the theaters. Maybe on free TV.

ok Movie

I had heard good reviews about this movie. It was ok, but not as good of a story as I had expected.

A movie that you can watch one time, but not want to own it.

This was a good movie but not what my husband was expecting and he was disappointed. Far fetched storyline.
