Good for the price.

The backlight is not very good, hard to see the display in the dark. The watch loses about 4 to 5 seconds a month which is within specs. I would rather have it gain 20 secs a month, though, than lose 5 secs - don't make me
late! I used my last Casio in the pool which was the Illuminator model, lost it and replaced with this, so I hope
it also works in water without dying. Only paid nine bucks for it, so can't complain. Very comfortable and lightweight.

Inexpensive watch for one who is hard on watches. . . .

Inexpensive watch, my second one of the same type, first one broke due to my 3 year old grandson grabbing and pulling on it. This newest watch, the clasp broke after a week of use and I replaced the broken clasp with parts from my first watch. The first watch is still running with no battery change after 4 years of use. Down side, the back lite is very weak for viewing the time in the dark.Read full review...

practical but small-looking

The price is very good. It does what you buy it for. Issue is the size of the item. Perhaps we are used to bulky watches but this looks more like a boy/teen/woman-size watch. Yet it is sold as men's watch. The ad does give the size 35 mm or 1 3/8 inches (that is the largest width inclusive of buttons) but until you get it you don't realize how thin/light/small it is. The light is also faint and you may have a hard time with the thin/short wrist band. Otherwise it is very practical in the sense that the screen is not cluttered with the nonsense you see on many watches. If you are a man with large hands this is probably not for you. Ok Product, for the price paid

I have bought several of this model over the past 4 years. I tend to beat the heck out of watches, and for that reason, I do not invest in expensive watches. On one watch, the crystal fell off after about 18 months of use. I bought another one, but it would not keep very good time losing several minutes per day. I ended up transferring the guts of my old watch (kept excellent time) to the new case and used it for several more years. I just purchased another one, that keeps excellent time, losing about 1 second every few days. All said, I recommend this watch for all you folks who also beat the heck out of watches, but still want accurate time at a low price.Read full review...

Strong watch, Weak band

I've owned several of these watches over the years and haven't had any problems with the watches themselves. They're rugged, keep accurate time and the batteries last a very long time. The only weak spot is with the watch bands. The bands break or the keeper breaks which requires buying a new band but the cost of a new band is the same or more than buying a new watch. I usually get 2-3 years of use before having to buy a new one because of the band issues.Read full review...

Great product for the price.

I like the product. You can’t tell it’s on your wrist. Value for the price is 5 ⭐️ stars. I like the larger model better because the face size is bigger and it has a light. The battery has a ten year warranty. I have owned 3 of the larger face ones and they are still going. The only problem is the watch band only last 3 years. The reason I bought this one is for the band.Read full review...

Good for the price

Mine arrived before the delivery date, which was awesome because I ordered this for work. It's alittle smaller than I expected, which is totally fine by me since I'm not too fond of giant watches. It's very very easy to adjust, I did it as soon as it was out of the box (which was perfectly packaged) and had it on by 2 minutes. My only concern is the light, there's only one tiny bulb at one side, there should be 2 on both sides so you can see the whole "dashboard"? Still love it and fully recommend!Read full review...

Great for general use

💯 percent authentic, I have an 8” wrist and leaving me with 4 to 5 holes left to plug into, I would say that and 8 1/2 wrist would be max for this band, other than that you got to love the simple and retro look of the watch, they have not changed the design in 28 years and there is no need to, simple and comfortable and easy on the pocket, every watch collection should have one.Read full review...

A wee bit small

Casio makes several watches that look almost alike. After losing one which did everything I wanted it to do I bought this on line. It turned out to be a little smaller: the strap was fussier to put on and holding it to operate the buttons is also a little awkward. Would that there was a way to see all their watches side-by-side. The purchase was fair and fast, I got what I ordered, but it wasn't quite what I wanted.Read full review...

Nice for women and children but not for a man. Functions well except for the light.

The watch works well except for the light, which is one of the reasons I bought it. If lucky, one digit lights up. Also, the watch is too small for a man. It would be good for children or women but not a man. Works well, especially for the functions I wanted (except the light). I'd rate it a five star if not for the light.Read full review...

Casio F91W-1

Watch works perfectly, is clear to read, and various functions are easy to access. Although it is of the older, digital style (seems everyone wants retro analog these days), it does exactly what I want. Only issues I have are that the alarm is almost too faint to hear, and for my medium-large wrist, the band is too short and barely fastens. I may have to buy another band, but it is hard to justify for this inexpensive watch. For the price, though, I have no major complaints about this Casio and overall am happy with my purchase.Read full review...
