"Barbie & the Diamond Castle" is a delightful story that is entertaining for young children. I bought this hard-to-find movie dvd for my granddaughters who enjoy all of the movies in the Barbie series to watch while riding in the car during our summer roadtrip vacation. They are enthralled by the graphics. The story line and catchy musical numbers are easy to comprehend and memorize, and the moral lessons are meaningful to them. "Barbie & the Diamond Castle" is just one of the movies in this series and well-worth adding to our collection. I would recommend the purchase of this dvd to others who are looking for engaging, clean, family-friendly entertainment for young children.
Having a 5 year old daughter we rent a lot of Barbie movies. This one is ALWAYS checked out at Family Video. We did get it once a few months ago and my daughter still sings the songs. I finally bought it.
Easily on of the top two Barbie videos. The computer animation is way better than some (the musketeers is low quality for a Barbie movie) The story and songs are great. I recommend the movie to anyone with a little girl in the house. Otherwise, don't buy it because, well, it's a movie for little girls.
I Thought this movie was really good, I have two young daughters and they both loved it. I music that was in this i even liked! Just like every other barbie movie this one also teaches kids about not giving up, and working together.
I would recommend this movie for any little girl :)

This is my absolute FAVORITE Barbie movie!!!!! Out of all of them, and I've seen ALL of them, I have a 7 year old daughter, This one to me is the best, I'm 40 and still can't explain how much I enjoy this movie every time I watch it!
This movie is playing on our DVD right now...my kids LOVE this movie!!! We watch it at least two times a day. It's actually very cute. My husband even likes it - and he's not the type to watch a barbie movie!!!!
Bought this for a 4 year old granddaughter. Has all the intrigue of a grand adventure. I like Barbie because she is polite, lady-like, considerate, smart. With Barbie films you can have ad adversary without showing too much violence. Granddaugter watched it all the way through - didn't lose interest.
I bought this DVD for my 4 year old daughter. We had seen this movie a few months ago when we rented it from our local video store. She had seen the previews of it on other DVDs that we own, since then, so decided to purchase it for her as a Christmas gift.
I really like the overall message of this movie. It really strives true friendship and sticking together.
Our 4 year old daughter LOVES this movie and was not scared at all by any of the characters. It is a good story about friendship and the music is decent for a kids movie.
I have two great grand daughters. They love the Barbie fairy tales as well as I do. Will buy more of these series.
